It's nice to see Robert Englund still finding work, but a movie that uses a cover of Hungry Like The Wolf- not even a good or interesting cover- is probably doomed from the get-go.

(Well, I suppose 'Hobo With A Shotgun' was good. So maybe, just maybe...)

Ah yes I too enjoyed Hobo with a shotgun- and the machine girl no less, but you see that was purposely cheesy and self aware. It managed to somehow do both and still be good, which is very very hard to do. Will this movie be able to do that? I don't know. I predict not. I might be willing to find out though if only for the sake of Mr. Englund.

Yeah. Duran Duran would have sold this movie for me. Looks quite generic, but I might check it out if I can find the DVD at a low price.

Was that a joke? Please, please tell me that it was a joke, and that there wasn't actually a clearheaded marketing guy who sat down and thought that line was a good idea.

The desperate low budget film maker's guide to horror movies: "Classic movie monster" (Zombies, werewolves, frankenstiens monster) vs/+strippers=profit!

Still, could be pretty funny, if only unintentionally.

And the ending to the trailer was just odd. Robert englund licking his lips. You could put that on the end of anything and it would instantly become disturbing. The singing scene from hellboy 2, the end of the lord of rings trilogy, even the smaltziest, cutsiest disney movie you can think of.

Somehow, the trailer makes a movie called "Strippers vs Werewolves" more embarassing than I imagined.

Though, if I ever become a movie producer, I'm totally going to make a movie with much the same name, only it will be a serious examination of the seedier side of the sex industry, and how apathetic the police and public are to violent crimes committed against people they deem to be less than. And a serial killer who is a werewolf.

Anyone else think that when they heard the title of the movie "Strippers vs Werewolves", were they expecting something along the lines of a porno?

Cause I mean, really...The only thing that comes to mind when I hear this, is strippers doing it doggy style with werewolves...

...Will there be a porn version of this, it might be way better.
