Define "wrong reaons"?
I LOVED "We Know the Way" on how they put their culture into a song (they were all bold to set sail together to search for new lands despite not having modern day navigation technolgies), perficually the lyrics (they're voyagers). I had read MANY Hawaiian praising the song aswell.
Given your quote, I think you might have misread me - it's only "Shiny" that I dislike. I otherwise quite like all the songs in Moana, and I've been listening to them on YouTube on and off since I saw the film.
So, yes, everything you said about the songs, I agree with. "Shiny" however, IMO, really sticks out, in that:
-It's in a very different style from almost every other song in the film. Every song up to this point has been focused on Moana and/or her people, and generally conformed to a similar motif/style of music. An exception is "You're Welcome," but I think that's a good song in of itself, and it does perform good, quick charactierization for Maui. Shiny feels out of place though - its disco effect, the lyrics, the tone, etc. Looking at the Moana OST as a whole, Shiny feels like the odd song out.
-Even by itself, I feel the song undercuts the tension in the moment. Here we have Moana at the mercy of a giant crab creature, and has to keep him distracted long enough for Maui to get his hook. This should be a tense scene, where, even if we know it'll work out, the film should try to fool us that Moana could be killed in an instant, that Maui could fail, that their mission could fail, etc. Instead we have a disco song that plays the thing for laughs, and gives Tomatoa characterization that isn't really needed, because he'll never appear in the film beyond this point. Imagine what it would have been like if, when Moana returns Te Fiti's heart, we had something similar, instead of the "Know Who You Our" motif returning.
So, yeah. Like Moana, and I really like its songs. But narratively and musically, the "Shiny" section sticks out like a sore thumb for me.

Beside Frozen has that stupid intro song that is so out of place that many people mistaken it from Lion King
That, I disagree with though. I don't rank "Frozen Heart" as highly as Let It Go/Snowman/First Time, but I feel it sets the mood excellently. It's a Scandanavian tune that sets the scene well, and becomes better in hindsight when its lyrics retroactively apply to Elsa through metaphor (e.g. "a frozen heart worth mining"). Never seen anyone mistake it for something from Lion King though - name one thing in Lion King that's actually frozen. 0_0
