Ok, so its halloween here is Australia today.

And because we dont really celebrate it I though me and my girlfriend would just watch a scary movie. However, I cant think of any we havent seen.

Can someone suggest me a really creepy and violent horror/slasher movie.

No Saw, Hostel, Hills Have Eyes, Halloween, Scream, Friday the 13th, Paranormal Activity.

'Let the Right One In'? If you don't mind subtitles, anyway. Although it's not that violent.

If just creepy is OK, Pan's Labyrinth would do quite well.

That's easy. Wolf Creek.

I don't know about you, but that sure scared me.

Also this. Especially 'Let the Right One In'. You have to see that movie.

Well, my favourite horror film would be Gothic. It is not very violent, at least not fisically, it is psichological horror, and one of the most "WHAT THE FUCK?!" films I've ever seen.

Splice is great. Brain Dead the Peter Jackson Zombie movie(although it's not scary). The exorcist, poltergeist, or the decent are good. Moviebob last halloween made a list of horror movies to watch. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/moviebob/6708-Halloween-Treats

On Pan's Labyrinth. If anyone hasnt seen The Orpanage, it is amazing, I suggest you watch it now.

village of the damned - its a total clasic
Jack-o - it is quite possibly the worst 80's scary movie of all time, but thats why its awesome
evil dead - evil dead 1, 2 or army of darkness (aka evil dead 3) arent scary but they're comedy horror with a high cheese factor lol

I own it, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I suppose it is now Halloween, so it's as good a time as any.
My foreign film collection has expanded enormously of late... Next on my list - Korea, by way of Oldboy.

I just watched a norwegian zombie movie "Dead Snow" that was pretty funny, and I also saw a move called Borderland a couple days ago, although neither one are really scary.
