Sooo.. After much annoyance and the constant request of friends I have decided to invest in the magical boxed delight of the latest installment of Call of Duty, I remember getting the older versions of Call Of Duty and thinking "Wait a minute.. isn't this just Medal Of Honor with a few twists" later I realized that no, this, is not Medal Of Honor, this is a game with more potential than the overly predictable MOH (Which I in say in a tone of contempt) I'm sorry, faithful and probably thoroughly bored reader but yes, I find Medal Of Honor boring.. Oh so boring..
So back to the point..
Call Of Duty according to my friends was a delightful game of amazement and general happiness but upon playing it I found it over-rated, but, before anyone replies with a witty comment such as "BULLSHIT!" I'm not saying its a bad game, I'm just saying that it was over-rated by many of my friends.. It was in fact a pretty good game and something that I believe that my x-box has been waiting for for far too long now..
Its something that fills the gap between Gears of War and Assassins Creed, an enjoyable game that isn't about murderous fascists killing grotesque beings that look that they're made of entrails or about an-overly complicated game that strays far too far away from the point that I WANT TO KILL SOMETHING! (You figure out which description fits which game..)
Overall the game is good in so far that I can sit down when I'm bored and just run through a few missions which thankfully haven't got totally repetitive yet and I can still feel as though I've accomplished something each and every time I've killed a terrorist that otherwise would have been a threat to me and my family (If what my government tells me is correct)..
Anyway in conclusion, I found this game to be not quite a boxed wonder of magical delights but a game which is well rounded and in a very complementing way fills a little gap which my collection of games just didn't seem to fill..
Don't be afraid to shame me if you feel my review is lacking in some form or another but try and keep your arguments constructive and to the point rather than just calling me rude names.
