Ok, at first that seems pretty stupid.
But, really, do we expect the people involved in rioting and looting to be the sharpest tools in the shed?

Step 1: Commit a crime. Doesn't matter what, as long as you can take a picture or video of it.
Step 2: Post images of your illegal act for everyone to see on the Internet.
Step 3: Police come a'knocking.
Step 4: Feel like the moronic scum you are all the way to prison.
As evidenced by the fact that there are people pillaging London like fucking Vikings, humans are not necessarily always good people. But sometimes they can be so hilariously inept that you just have to laugh at the misfortune they bring on themselves.

I was watching the Birmingham riot last night xD
It was mildly amusing at points and fairly dangerous at others, yet the 4 of us walking around managed to be fine and we didn't loot anything :3
I did get some good pics of damaged buildings and lines of police officers though.

I really, really hate these rioting wankers. REALLY hate. Rumours bouncing about potential spread to my city (yeah, because there is ANY logic to that), would seriously consider counter-rioting against any such fucks messing up my city. Though that would likely get me stabbed 
Is that....my god, he stole 3 tubs of Body Shop Body Butter! Looks like the Mango Variety XD First man I've ever seen who has stolen body butter. Also looks like a bottle of Protein Powder from Holland and Barret. This man has weird taste.
And everyone posting stuff on Facebook and bragging on Twitter is stupid XD Police are going to demand these sites hand over the details of these people over so they can arrest them.
But we need a curfew, water cannons (which we'll need to ship from Northern Ireland), rubber bullets and the Army called back from Afghanistan to help out. The more man power we have, the better to stop these. Just think how many people have lost their homes, livelihoods, jobs, we don't even know if anyone died in the flats above the shops. 3 guys are being prosecuted for attempted murder from running a police officer over. A group also mugged a guy while he was semi-conscious, bleeding and confused about what was going on.
Police need the right to use extreme measures, none of this 'he man-handled me' or 'He shoved me to the ground! He assaulted me!' shit.
However, tonight we're going from 6000 police to 16'000 in London. If this doesn't work...well, here comes the water cannons and tear gas...
