With only 6 scheduled matches, one of which only has one competitor and the other of which I don't think has even been announced on television, this year's Survivor Series looks a little disappointing on paper. Its main event build has been confused and had a last-minute stipulation added -- even though the match's contracts had already been signed -- and most of the WWE's top stars are in the match, which means the undercard is as weak as it can be. I mean, one of these six matches has Fandango against a TBA opponent, and I believe it's scheduled for the pre-show. We have two Divas matches, one of which is "heels vs. faces" that hasn't had a single second of build on Raw or Smackdown. There are only two championship matches, one of which is "every tag team we have available" squaring off, while the other is the Divas Championship, which has had a less-than-interesting build thus far. I'm not excited for Survivor Series.

Fandango vs. TBA

Prediction: Fandango wins.

Random Thoughts: I'm not even 100% sure this is a match that's going to happen. We're told Fandango was going to return, but I'm not positive anyone said he was getting a match. Regardless, it's listed on Wikipedia, and Wikipedia is never wrong, so let's assume Fandango has a match. He's the only one advertised for it, and he's being called the "new and improved" Fandango, so he has to win, doesn't he?

<color=red>Fatal Four-Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Miz and Damien Sandow vs. Stardust and Goldust vs. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando, with El Torito) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)
http://i59.servimg.com/u/f59/16/09/70/40/clipbo30.jpg

Prediction: Goldust and Stardust retain. Los Matadores are here because we needed another tag team and the division sucks, The Usos have nothing left to do as champions, so they have no reason to win it, and Miz and Sandow will bicker and that'll lead to them losing. Goldust and Stardust retaining is the only logical choice I see.

Random Thoughts: I know fans have been wanting The Ascension to debut for some time now, and with the tag team division on ... well, it's on full display here, since this is it, I think this would be the perfect time for such a thing to happen. Maybe not at the PPV, but on Raw the next night, perhaps.

WWE Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (with Brie Bella)
http://i59.servimg.com/u/f59/16/09/70/40/clipbo31.jpg

Prediction: Since Total Divas is in its off-season, and therefore we won't confuse viewers by having different champions on the various shows -- since tape delay ruins that, apparently, and WWE doesn't want that -- this is the perfect time to pull the trigger on a Nikki Bella title reign. I see her winning this match.

Random Thoughts: The wildcard here, of course, is what Brie Bella will do. It's her last night as "Cinderbella," which means she still technically needs to obey her sister. Maybe, perhaps, she'll want to, and we'll get a reunited Bella Twins stable. Or, more likely, she won't, and we'll get a Bella vs. Bella feud over the Divas Championship for a month or two -- or perhaps longer. That could be a WrestleMania feud.

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt
http://i59.servimg.com/u/f59/16/09/70/40/clipbo32.jpg

Prediction: This one could go either way, but I think Wyatt needs the win more. I mean, his former stable-mates are main eventing the PPV, while he's stuck in a lackluster feud with Dean Ambrose. That's not bad, by any means, but he could really use the victory here. I think he'll get it.

Random Thoughts: Shouldn't this feud, I don't know, feel more like these men hate each other? Instead, we've only gotten vague promos nobody can follow over and over again. Sure, there was that one attack by Wyatt, but otherwise this feud has been treated like it's not particularly important by WWE. It's not something I'm looking forward to, really, and I should be.

<color=red>Survivor Series Elimination Match: Emma, Naomi, Alicia Fox, and Natalya vs. Paige, Cameron, Summer Rae, and Layla
http://i59.servimg.com/u/f59/16/09/70/40/clipbo33.jpg

Prediction: Another 50/50 match. Paige is the only one in this match with genuine credibility right now, so her team will probably win. But, then, she does have Cameron and Summer Rae on her team, so who knows? I'll still pick the heels.

Random Thoughts: So, Paige attacking Alicia Fox made her into a face, huh? Okay, then. Would it kill WWE to at least tell us this match was happening. I didn't find out until I saw it online. Now, maybe it was shown for a brief moment on TV, but I certainly didn't notice when that happened. It's a filler match that exists to kill time, and there's really no reason to care about it. I guess that's why it hasn't been promoted. The thing is that it could matter if WWE cared.

<color=red>Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Cena (Ryback, Erick Rowan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and John Cena) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Mark Henry, and Luke Harper)
http://i59.servimg.com/u/f59/16/09/70/40/clipbo34.jpg

Prediction: There are two ways for this to play out. Cena's team could win, and The Authority will be disbanded, or The Authority will win, will try to fire Team Cena (except Cena, of course) on Raw, and they'll be stopped either by the fact that contracts were already signed, or Vince McMahon will veto the situation. Honestly, I'm hoping the latter happens, although it's much more likely that Team Cena wins, if for no other reason than "Cenawinslol."

Random Thoughts: We know that people like Ryback and Dolph Ziggler are not getting fired any time soon, which kind of kills the intensity that the match has. This last-minute stipulation should have been made weeks ago, not on the go-home show before Survivor Series. The Authority very well might be disbanded, but I hope not. I like Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as on-screen personas. That's why I'm hoping Team Authority wins but Vince McMahon stops the firing, and a power-struggle storyline begins.

Well, this is a much shorter prediction post than normal. Thanks, WWE, for not having the talent to fill in a full PPV. Whatever. The main event will probably be good, the Tag Team Championship match will be a spot-fest, and the Divas match will likely be great, for a Divas match. We'll find out on Sunday. Oh, and I hear Sting will be there. That alone might make it worthwhile viewing.

Fandango vs. TBA: I disagree, and damn do I want to be wrong as I like the man they call Faannnnndaaaaaannnnnggoooooooo. If his match back was against Adam Rose (as everyone thought) than I could see a win no issue, but against a mystery opponent? That has "mystery opponent turns out to be someone who squashes Fandango" written all over it.

Fatal Four-Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Miz and Damien Sandow vs. Stardust and Goldust vs. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando, with El Torito) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso): I agree though I'd not rule out the Mizfits. Damian deserves something, and Miz is an accomplished tag wrestler who they have liked giving reigns to.

WWE Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella (with Brie Bella): I agree, Big Bella all the way and I don't even want to think about AJ retaining. Horrible champion. When this started some people were saying Brie would cost Big Bella the match which makes sense I suppose... but after AJ DDTed her and showed what a horrible person she is? I don't care how many costumes Brie has had to wear due to her sister, it'll make her look like an idiot if she costs her sister the match to help that dreadful AJ.

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt: Sure I'll go with Bray winning, Dean is the kind of guy I think who even losing all his feuds doesn't really hurt him.

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Emma, Naomi, Alicia Fox, and Natalya vs. Paige, Cameron, Summer Rae, and Layla: From what I heard it was mentioned on the app... so Alicia is now officially a face? Just like that? Why isn't she leading the team? I can only hope Natalya brings along Mr Hart to ignore the match and pat all the faces on the head after it.

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Cena (Ryback, Erick Rowan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and John Cena) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Mark Henry, and Luke Harper): I'd say team Cena wins though I hope Rusev gets DQed to protect him, having Cena just randomly pin him would be very odd.

My guess is this guess with the mystery opponent bein Sting if only because I'm just seriously tired of waitin for him and havin him crush Fandango would be glorious. Plus its the free ppv so shovin the biggest guns you have (barrin Austin or Rocky just poppin up out of nowhere) seems to be the best course of action here. Though somethin like that wouldn't be relegated to preshow so maybe I'm totally wrong.

Fatal 4 tag match: Okay, I know I'm ridiculous for wantin this, but I really really want The Miz and Mizdow to win. Like really want them to win. It could finally be the catalyst that breaks the two up. Mizdow does the work, gets all the cheers, then The Miz keeps taggin himself in to get the glory. Promos can be about how Miz is the star of the team and how Mizdow, while bein the best stunt double ever, is still just a stunt double. Resentment brews until Miz costs the two a match for the titles with his glory hoggin. Queue face turn for Mizdow.

Yes they could easily jump the gun on the face turn and just have them split over any nonsense, but them havin the titles as we watch their team implode? That would be truly glorious.

Divas title match: If the rumors that AJ is done with WWE are even remotely true, obviously she'll drop the title. Outside of that though, I'm just really bored of AJ as champion. Part of its that she just doesn't have quality opponents, but the other part is that its just so borin. I get that the smaller women can't exactly pull off super power moves all the time, but that doesn't mean you can't pull off any moves at all. Gail Kim is perfect proof of that. On top of that I'm a huge fan of the strong female wrestlers. The Chynas. The Karmas. The Beth Phoenix's. So havin someone who can just chuck around her opponents is always a plus for me.

Anyways though, there's really nothin left for AJ if she does win the title whereas havin a Brie vs Nikki feud over the title will actually make the feud feel more meaningful.

Wyatt vs Ambrose: I agree here. Dean doesn't need a win here, nor does a Ambrose win really do much other than give him some form of payback for Wyatt costin Ambrose the title. Granted a Wyatt win doesn't mean much either. Really it could be a no contest end and it wouldn't mean anythin because there's really nothin on the line here. Ambrose needed some way out of the main event because otherwise he would hog Cena's spotlight in the Authority vs Cena story (why they didn't fold this into the Survivor Series match when it would make perfect logical sense is beyond me) while Wyatt needed someone big to feud with to justify all the damn hype. Now here we are. Two guys facin each other and no one knows why.

Main event: My incredibly cynical position is that Cena's entire team will be eliminated then Cena will AA the entire Authority team at once then pin them one by one. My less cynical position is that Cena will be the last man standin on his team against Rollins. Cena will initially dominate the hell out of Rollins until the Authority starts (or more likely continues) to cheat and Cena ends up in trouble. Rollins sets up for a curb stomp, Orton comes out and blasts him with an RKO. When Cena stands up, RKO to him too because he's all crazy and whatnot. Double DQ finish, no one gets fired, Authority stays in power.

Bets on who gets eliminated first!

I'm torn between Kane and Rowan. On the one hand, Kane has literally just been the big guy who gets knocked out a lot. On the other hand, Rowan is...well...Rowan. He doesn't really do anythin for the team and of the Wyatt family he was generally the least interestin one. On the third hand, both are basically like that sixth slot in Elimination Chamber matches goin to people like Khali. They're really only there so its "shocking" when the big guy gets eliminated by some normal sized human being.

Fandango vs TBD: Probably will be a dark match with Fandango facing some jobber for his return match, nothing special but away to get Fandango noticed again

Fatal Four way Tag: I could see Miz/Mizdow winning, Mizdow is extremely hot right now and as others have said it could eventually lead to the Miz vs Mizdow feud

Diva's Title- I can see Nikki winning, they have been building her up as a legitimate threat for a while and AJ has become a bit stale as champion, probably Brie will interfere

Ambrose vs Wyatt- I feel like this feud was suffocated by the Authority vs Cena feud, not being allowed to fully develop, besides the lackluster build I am really looking forward to this one, both guys are among the best in the company at the moment and having Wyatt beat Ambrose would be a great way to get his career back on track after getting rolled over by Cena one too many times

Diva's Survivor Series match- Well this is from out of no where, another case of Authority vs Cena taking up a lot of time on the past few Raws. I can see Fox's team winning this one, it is a much more competent of a team in comparison to Paige's team which is stuck with Cameron "count it ref".

Team Authority vs Team Cena- Something big is going to happen in this match, with the network free something needs to be done to make sure people stay invested. I doubt Cena will turn heal but I can see his team winning this fairly clean so that the Authority will be out of power. With the Authority gone people will be interested to see what happens in the coming weeks so people will buy the network for December, then the road to Wrestlemania starts almost guaranteeing retained subscriptions.

It should be an interesting show despite it relatively slim offering, the WWE has a large captive audience who need a reason to stay invested and they have the perfect opportunity to set off some fireworks.
