Take The Escapist's 2012 April Fools Day Quiz!

How many of these jokes and riddles can you solve?

Yes, technically we're a day late on April Fools Day, but as a wise man once said, "In a race between a rock and a pig, don't varnish your clams."

And don't be worried if that doesn't make any sense, because we're not sure what that means either. However! In honor of April 1st, we've put together a quiz full of classic riddles, jokes and brain teasers for you to solve. Think you know the real reason the chicken crossed the road? Or the answer to the Sphinx's riddle? Take the quiz and find out!

Take the Quiz! [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/quizzes/view/199]

You'll have as long as you like to take the quiz, and can retake it until you get 100%. Just remember your cumulative time will affect your position on the leaderboard.

That was fun.

"Angry and Hungry are two words that end in GRY, there are three words in The English Language, what is the third word?"

If not for my failure at Maths, I'd've been #1. Just seeing numbers threw me a bit... :P

The black and white one doesn't really translate well to text... That's my excuse at least for getting only 9 my first time. Fun quiz.

Not sure if I screwed up the last one or the "black and white". Oh well, best score from a Quiz so far!

Oh, that last one about "letters three, add two more" was about half my time on its own. Dammit. I wanted to be in first for once, but instead get 17th. BEHOLD MY SADFACE. D=

However, I am apparently a trickster god, so I guess it all works out in the end.

"What's black and white and red/read all over" kind of fails when it's written down since it's based on a homophone.

Other than that it was a fun quiz. Shame that I had heard them all before so I didn't actually solve them, which is the best part of riddles.

And since it was an April fools quiz, I was worried that either the correct answers to the riddles would be wrong, or none of the answers were right.

I wondered if the joke would be that you'd get 100% or first place no matter what. I liked the few/fewer one, at least there were a couple i'd not heard.

Same here. I was even thinking about that joke a couple days ago and while it's clever saying out loud, it doesn't work in print. Or if you do try it in print, spell the word correctly.

26th? Dammit! I blame my connection >.>

I should point out: Loki was actually the god of being a dick.

The only answer I've ever heard to that one is a sunburned penguin, but since that wasn't an option I assumed the zebra was some strange American variation. I didn't even realise there was supposed to be a riddle there.

Well, i took my sweet, sweet time doing this one, and actually got 100%. I´m quite glad, tho it was rather easy. The only one i had to think about, and initially selected the wrong one (i answered a few questions after that, then went back and decided to select the right-ish answer), was the one black-white, red one. I decided to take the most non-silly answer. Still, i don`t get it...

Well I got about 7/10 on this quiz from mostly guessing so I guess I did pretty good. :D
