HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA "Takes deep gasp" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh my God, look at this.

<youtube=GM82Lv0FU50>

If teabagging with a mech didn't satisfy you, now you can teabag people from across the battlefield with a hologram, without putting yourself at danger. Not to mention it makes holograms a lot more convincing. Oh God this is hilarious. So, any thoughts about this?

Aaargh! Combining the worthless bullet magnet of a decoy with a mechanical rhythmic simulation of the most obnoxious ritualistic practice in modern gaming, but then factor in my rifle stock's inability to ignore enemy teabaggers and what does this cluster of ill facts sum up to?
...Something actually useful for a change. Wow.

It's the perfect addition.

Done it several times today.
Lets say that people weren't happy with me doing it.

Like "Lets drive a Wraith into his face." kinda happy. <_<

So, 343 says, "Sexism in Xbox Live is bad, and we aim to stop it."

"Introducing teabagging holograms."

...good one 343. *rolls eyes*

How is teabagging sexist? Both girls and guys can do it.

It's not so much that it's sexist as much as it promotes immature behavior even more. "But be mature about the sexism guys."

The general messages, not the specific, are the contradicting parts.

It's... innovative.

Back in Reach, clever players figured out you could fake a hologram by creating one at your own position and then running forward - the enemies would ignore you since they assumed you were a hologram, at which point you could spin around and go Quaid-from-Total-Recall on their asses.

For a couple of months, this worked pretty well. For the last 6 months or so, it's been a completely non-viable tactic since everybody's seen it done and nobody falls for it any more - basically, it was a one-trick pony with a not-very-long lifespan.

I think this Teabagging Holodude will be an even more short-lived tactic. It's not very accurate (most human players tend to teabag more rapidly - don't ask how I know this).

And yeah, the double-standard here is pretty bewildering. "No sexism, but simulated necrophile rape is A-OK!"

Being sexist isn't "immature," it's immoral and despicable. Comparing sexism to teabagging in online games is degrading to victims of both. There's nothing wrong with having a little immature fun now and then, especially since it's actually quite useful in-game.

Well they did indeed innovate with Halo 4 then. Back in my day on Halo 3 teabagging was a dangerous thing, you could get shot or grenaded. Now you can do it within the safety of a mecha or even from distance with a hologram! Progress!!!

Wow, that's... actually pretty clever.
Dang.

As clever as something that's kinda dumb can be.

Most people using sexist terms in video games aren't necessarily sexist. It is a part of the immature trashtalk they use. Both sexist trashtalk and teabagging are often a symtom of the same thing: Idiots and children playing video games not intended for their mental age.

In this case this is actually perfect addition
teabagers are usually attracting bullets, so it is perfect decoy
while you hologram is being immature and attracts attention, you can actually score some additional kills :)

You do know that they were misquoted when people said that right?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/120525-Microsoft-No-Special-Policies-for-Halo-4-Sexism

Besides, teabagging =/= sexist (sexism is much worse) and this could have practical uses in game just like regular teabagging did, such as aggravating your opponent or using the hologram as abut.

Mainly because teabagging doesn't get personal with anyone or harass them.

And what if you make your hologram stand in the corner while you stiffly teabag?
