how many of you play this game? If so on what platform? I am part of a small community of Ps3 TF2 gamers and u would like to know if any of you enjoy this game. We organize diffrent kinds of matches as well as tournaments.

I played it once or twice and its predecessor a few times. The game is alright. I really think much more could have been done with it but what Valve did is alright as is. However, between TF2 and many other online games I'd opt for the others because of originality, gameplay, not as repetitive (graphics or gameplay), and in some cases more friendly people.

I don't mean to scratch your disk or anything this is just my opinion. Although if I had a full legit copy I'd be happy to play with you because you seem nice.

its ok, the game is pretty deep if you have teamwork. Like a full blown clan match. But other games are equally or more fun to other people.

I am a member of a clan and play on PC.

My personal opinion is that it's one of the best multiplayer FPS's available.
- Shallow Learning Curve
- Excellent class balance
- Works well for playing as a team
- Fantastic work on the graphics and artwork.

I play it on the PC, not part of any clan.
It's a great game that's in my opinion not played serious, and because of that I play it.(massive total of 34 hours combined playtime in the 4 months I have the game, 16 points was my highest score in one life and even though I suck, I'm not really holding back my team because I'm a decent medic/engineer/heavy)

I disagree a bit on the class balance, but everything else is exactly why I play the game.(the unlockable weapons are a bit too powerful in my opinion, but it doesn't make the players that have those weapons gods, it just sucks trying to escape from a pyro only to get slaughtered by four crits from his backburner, or to get his axtinguisher in my back)

I love the game. I haven't had this much fun in an online FPS in a while. I'm on the PC side of things, though.

I play it... although I haven't played it since I moved out of my last year's university accomodation where I played it on the PC of a computer science student friend. He could like run any game ever on top settings.

I play it on the PC, I love the pace especially on the instant respawn servers it gets so frantic. I would say my favourite classes are Pyro and Medic, although I can use them all pretty well.

I play on PC, with my main two classes being pyro and scout. I just can't get used to the sniper in that game.

I've played it for a bit on the 360 (I'm useually a medic) and while there are some good aspects (no grenades? feeble sniper rifle? I must be in heaven) there were also quite a few things that let it down.

1. Getting into a game can be a long and painful process since many people seem to be reluctant to start a game until you have a full blown 12-16 people (there's 8 of us, just start the game now dammit!). I've tried hosting my own games to get around this but I'm useually faced with the same problem since almost no-one seems to join my game.

2. The many classes may be varied and unique but there should have been a limit on how many of each class a team can have. In my experience I was in a game where our team had 4 medics and 1 demo-man (we were the attacking team as well), obviously we got slaughtered since none of us had the sense to change class (I tried being a Pyro, which didn't work out well).

3. Engineer turrets- don't get me started on these things. This is just my personal grumble, they're are extremely annoying (but seeing as that is the point of them, I suppose I should be saying 'keep up the good work).

As you can tell by the avatar, I think the game it's great. I've only played a bit of it (unfortunately), but what I have played was really enjoyable. My highlight was going up against a Heavy, as an Engineer... and winning (without turrets of course).

IMO this game got ruined in the last few updates, too much console-esque achievements and overpowered weapon unlockables, the most telling sign is the achievement farming servers, it's mmo grinding in a fps...

I <3 TF2 - nice and easy to pickup and play for 30mins or whatever. I have great respect for Valve as they always release updates/patches for their games and generally do not charge for any new content. Shame they are not allowed to do this for the console people really, but hell, who in their right mind plays a FPS with a gamepad?! :p

Also, re the achievement servers - I would prefer people to go on them rather than ruining a normal server, so that doesn't bother me really.

I want to buy it but have not yet. Also, Danny Ocean is setting up a big Weekend event thing for whoever wants to participate [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.70270].

I'm a medic most often, due to the fact my internet latency prohibits direct combat, and I'm not the best engineer yet.

I don't have it for the PC (yet I seriously want it) but during that free Team Fortress 2 weekend on Steam, I don't think I ever left my computer.
