Tekken Movie Trailer Isn't Appalling

Looks like a turkey to me, not on a street fighter level, but the critics are gonna have a field day.
EDIT: I stand corrected, apparently it's an indie film and not a Hollywood effort, so my previous statement doesn't really hold up

Ermmm.... i'm not a major fan of Tekken, but I know enough to get me through. But it looks like it will be a simple plot, but I want to know if there will be any mention of the Devil Gene?
To behonest OP I have to disagree... the trailer just looks bad. I'm not saying the movie will be bad (however I won't get my hopes up) but the trailer just didn't do it for me. Maybe some better music a better narrative and maybe better pacing, I mean the trailer was pretty much "Here's a fight scene, now here's a Cockney Irish Chinamen being all moody and in love and shit... hey here's another fight scene... back to Jon Foo... hey a one liner... hey another fight scene...ect".

Eh, I'll probably rent the DVD once it's out.
By the way, what's so bad about the DoA movie? The games don't take themselves seriously, and the movie does the exact same thing (i.e. being deliberately campy) and does it well. Yes, it's not a gem of the world of cinema, but it's good harmless fun nontheless.

THIS...LOOKS...AWESOME! I'm not normally one to be drawn in to crap like this, but that trailer actually looked decent. Couldn't be any worse than the Dragonball movie...
