Telltale's Walking Dead S2, Episode 4 Gets Release Date, Trailer

Is Clem OK?

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season Two is drawing to a close, and you have to wonder whether Clementine's going to survive this one. We're about to find out, as the penultimate episode, Amid The Ruins, is due next week.

Exactly when next week will depend on your device of choice. Those of you on iOS - like me - get it on the 24th. The Vita, PC, Mac, and PS3 version comes to the US on the 22nd, while those in Europe have to wait till the 23rd for their fix on PS3 and Vita. The North America Xbox 360 version is also due on the 23rd. No word on the Android version.

"Hunger, violence and death have taken their toll," says Telltale. "Simmering conflicts and inevitable changes within the group remind Clementine that danger can come from within, as well as without." So who will she stick with, and who will she abandon?

Nice, Can't wait to play it. Beautiful music in the trailer. That woman sounds a lot like Jack from Mass Effect II.

*inhale* *exhale* Okay. Round 4.

As always, the first time I playthrough an episode, I do so honestly. Second playthrough's as Kick-Ass Clem, third's where I watch my friend make her decisions on her profile, and perhaps a fourth with a n00b, for entertainment.

But that first time... aaaaah! So intense. I love it. >¦]

She really does. Looks like her, too.

And using her femininity (and questionable past) to lure a man into running away with her, just to shoot in in the.. *ahem*... and leave him to get eaten alive? A very Jack-like move. Hell, take away her shirt ane it's practically copyright infringement....Not that I'm complaining. Having someone talk cold logic without being the obvious "bad guy" (a la Carver) is sort of refreshing.

Jesus Christ Kenny is getting depressing. That "beaten to Death" line is probably the saddest thing I've heard all year.

Anyways, can't wait to play this! I'm with you til the end, Kenny.

I have to say that i actually really agree with her.
I really disliked this new group mostly because how useless everyone seems to be.
The guy in orange is the only usefull one. The other usefull one died at the end of the first episode.
The rest range in capability from totally useless to extreme liability (I am looking at you Jack!).
I mean it's one way to explain why everyone would listen to a little girl and let her do all the dangerous stuff, but that doesn't mean that i am going to like them for it.

I know i'm in the minority here, but I can't for the life of me see what everyone else sees in these games. They're so grimdark and depressing and filled with character death that I wonder why/how everyone is surprised that Clem might die?
what the hell else do you think was going to happen?!
Yatzhee said it best - 'what do you think happens? They find a cure and everyone gets lemonade?'

I can't spoil 'cause I haven't played the new episode, but come on! You think anyone survives this game? Did you think Noble 6 survived Reach too? Or that the Titanic wouldn't sink?!

I know having a bad game is not the same as knowing a game will end badly, but its the same problem I have with Dark Souls. Why make the investment knowing at absolute best you'll end up a weeping mess on the floor?

For some strange reason this reminds me of a few lines from an old MoS song...

When you're stumbling through the darkness walking blind
Don't forget that there is always hope to find.

Choose your path. Walk it well
Save us from this living hell
...
As the towers of steel and stone crumble to dust.
The foundations of our hope begin to rust.
At any rate this episode will have some major manure hitting the fan and the the fallout will be catastrophic

Watching the trailer I honestly thought that Mike was Lee, and I was pretty excited but then...
Oh yeah, Lee is dead.

On another note, it looks really good. I cant wait to play it. Good thing that this and the Naxx patch for Hearthstone come out on the same day, because Telltale take their damn time with these episodes, so it should be something to do whilst I wait to inevitably cry my eyes out.

*crosses fingers* Please don't make me have to choose between Luke and Kenny, PleasePleasePlease

But yeah, I'm down for this! episode 3 had hella cliffhangers, and I've been digging the second season so far.
