Ok I will combine my two hints into one post for the newcomers who don't wanna sort through everything. For 4-1
Caesar was a very VERY wise man.. the colour of the words are important.. they separate the answer into the title of a game

For 4-2
After you input the coordinates.. and then input the NEW found coordinate, think of the significance of the location you just discovered.. and what kind of disaster you always hear about coming out of that region. Stalking this forum might help a little.

With nothing selected. I suggest you try the
Contra code first.
I've tried the ole up up down down etc, nothing happens.
Probably something I'm missing...
-Tabs<3-
-edit- It worked... I'm colour blind so i didn't notice the VERY subtle differentiation in colour between the two. -.-
There are three different changes for the 3 italicised words. After you get all, Caesar points the way.

On a sidenote, any hint to give for the second one? I've got a national park in Russia. -.-
This hint won't mean anything unless you've played the game. So good luck.

I've tried entering the
contra code
but it doesn't work, am I entering it wrong? is there a specific way to enter it? do I use the arrow keys, the number pad or just spell out the key combinations? >.<

The other two codes worked but I cant get the last one to highlight the letters, I've tried refreshing and re-entering the
contra code
first, but still nothing. >.>

Just the arrow keys and letters. I'm using a laptop so I have no num pad, so i'm assuming you don't need one.

A quick google search got me my answer. Thank you very much. I've never played that game before, though. >.> Come to think of it, I had no idea the game for 4-1 even existed.

Seriously? That wasn't subtle enough? I didn't give away the answers...
Only people who know it are going to get it :(

Nah, you didn't give away answers. I just needed to be careful and precise at what key words I used to google.

So because I felt guilty about not plotting the points to get the answer, I went to do it manually. It was soooo obvious once I got the final clue.

OH GOD, YES. I GOT #2 =DDD

Once I worked out the location, I took a massive guess at what it was; it was one of the recent games I know of that takes place in that location. I had a few ideas, but didn't need to trial any of them.

I'm having massive trouble with #1. I've entered the relevant codes, but the only colour that will appear is the red. Can someone please help me? This is really just silly. I know how to work out the first stage, but this damn thing just won't work properly.

Thanks for assistance on 4-1. Done done and done on that one. Although...
I'd have put three different shifts on the Caesar bit myself.

4.2, I've gotten to the pinpoint, but I am completely lost on what it means.

Still haven't played any of these games what are the answers to these enigmas.

I love day 4!

Hint/tech tip for Opera users for 4.1:
make sure you do not have 'Enable single-key shortcuts' selected in Preferences - Shortcuts, or entering the codes may be impossible.

Type it in to the Google maps bar. That is what each section looks like.

Where exactly is that place? A famous incident happened there before.

I know where it is, and what happened there, but the relevance is passing me by without even waving hello.

A certain Roman ruler killed by a Brute will shift you towards your answer.

Go do a google search on games in the 2000s that have occurred in that setting. It's part of a series, if that helps.

I feel really silly.. but 4-1 has passed right over my head.. i have tried entering
god mode cheats for mentioned games, game names and entering the actual code written down
and nothing has happened, i have even looked at the page source and found nothing helpful here.. could someone please pm on how to START 4-1 please? I blitzed the last 3 days.. but this is driving me mental.. Thank you in advance.
Yeah I did the same thing a few times.
I finally noticed the color change in the text after entering each code a couple times while not in a text field or anything. Just highlight nothing (perhaps click in that jumbled letter field to be safe) and enter one of those codes you mentioned, look carefully at that letter field, and if you got the right code, the color of some letters should change.
Yeah.. I'm having no luck with typing out any of these codes. Where do I have to actually enter them? This is confuzzling >.<
-Tabs<3-
You don't actually ENTER the codes.. you type them randomly on the page and the change should just occur. You don't actually enter the codes into a box or anything, just randomly on the page without anything highlighted.
I am really confused now. What is the stuff about words changing colors and pages? I don't understand how that is related to any games.
