hmm, harder than I had imagined, but here goes:
1. Baldur's gate 2. Anyone who has other RPGs on their list, go get a copy!
2. Chip'N Dale on the NES.. Nostalgiavalue is incredible. It was pure awesome back in its days
3. CS:S
4. HL 2 with episodes
5. World of Warcraft takes the last place as I've had much fun with it, but there's prolly been 10 min boredom for every hour of fun.
Honorable mentions: Mass effect 2, Dragon age: origins and Final fantasy IX which got the gamer-ball going for real.
EDIT: Hmm... Few people with Baldur's gate 2 on their list... bit surprising really. Also like to mention Gothic 2, totally forgot about that one. Great game!

I don't really like to post in threads with this many pages unless i really care for the topic at hand. That is not the case here. I AM posting because of the OP, especially because of this part:
Anyways, my top 5. I realized that the games i've been playing aren't that awesome and have lost their touch. But still, the ones that made me care(or any other positive emotion) are these:
Dawn of War
Medieval 2 Total War
Warcraft 3 (+expansion, of course)
Max Payne (Well, Max Payne 2 was great too. Even trough the first play-trough i did was completely in Russian, so i had to get the story plainly by watching the comic pictures and by using my imagination, the game was a great experience. And when i finally did play it in English, it was even more fun. To me, it's one of the most memorable games, ever)
