This isn't bat-armor...this isn't a rubber muscle-suit...ya know what, I like this. It looks like Affleck will be able to move his head/neck. It doesn't look overly cumbersome either. It would be nice to see the suit in color but that's only a matter of time.

I know I'm totally jumping at Bat-Shadows here, but does anyone else think the bottom left of that image looks like something Joker-ish?

Now just got to wait for the armored bat suit and the new version of Superman suit they are making. If anything, that photo is way to dark, what will he look like out in the open? Or is the whole movie going to be dark and broody? Still hasnt made me an more uninterested in the movie than i was before. At least the batmobile looks good though just looked like they turned the Nolans batmobile into the Tim Burton one.

Arrrrrgh! The outline is quite good, but those textures... Are those a on of fake VEINS on there?
That's even dumber than bat nipples. :'(

And I suddenly give a shit again, Batman looks good. I don't love the batmobile but it looks better than the tumbler.

While pretty much any modern grey and black batsuit can probably trace it's inspiration more to Miller's stuff in the 80's than anything else, with the segmented look it seems they're drawing more from Batman's current look in the new 52 than trying to specifically go back to the Miller look.

I quite like the batsuit. I won't get hyped too soon, because it could still easily look terrible in motion.

The Batmobile, on the other hand, I like. It looks like it could be a real machine, but at the same time it's stylised enough to not be boring. It's sleek, but also jagged at the same time. Very cool.

it's not a matter of looking the part (well, that is part of it) but ben affleck is not a good actor and not right for the part of batman

That batsuit looks good enough to be in it's own movie...

Oh wait...

Regardless, now I want to see that Batmobile in action!

I'm with you there. I've always thought that Batman, with these types of ears, looks more like a cat. I suppose it makes more sense in reality, but still, I prefer the pointier ears myself.
Pictures looks good though.

Well there is also the similar bat-logo, batman's older age, the shape of his blade thingies on the gloves; It's a mix-up really, a lot of new 52 and then some batman noel.

Based on that: Frank Miller is the WORST person to take anything from because he HATES superheroes.
Oh yeah. I just read Marvel Comics: The Untold Story and Miller is the last person I'd have anywhere near superheroes these days.

You're flattering this thing, it doesn't look nearly as good as Burtonmobile.

Well, Affleck, as I expected, looks definitely better than Bale.
Hmm. Him in a horned mask gives me Daredevil flashbacks. Gotta rewatch the Director's cut.

Thank the lord i'm not the only one to spot it!

I dread to think, Jessie is Lex Luthor, who is gonna be Joker? Ron Pearlman?....Actually that would be hilarious to see!

I like it.. I am still surprised people hated superman so much. They say it was too dark, why not like the Reeves version, hey Superman 1 and Superman 2 hold up well, go watch them. I am ok with different takes. This will be the 3rd batman series of movies, I expect something different. We can get different takes.

Looks at picture again, puts chips down, heads to gym..

My first thought after seeing the image was "Are you sure this isn't a screenshot from Batman: Arkham Knight, Snyder?" Seriously, they couldn't have offered a color photo to the masses?

BTW, for those of you who'd like an image that is a bit more clear, Superherohype.com/Comingsoon.net has offered a brightened version.

While I'm not crazy about the Frank Miller design aspect, it does look promising. Glad to see a suit that isn't black rubber armor. I do wonder if Ben Affleck can turn his head with that cowl or not. Overall, not too bad. Just wish we got a better look at the Batmobile and a color image of Batfleck. Still, it is a hell of a lot better than J.J. Abrams giving us a sever case of blue balls in regards to Star Wars: Episode VII.

OK, fingers crossed on Wonder Woman turning out decent.
Totally agree about Wonder Woman looking good for being good looking now. Because currently the best Wonder Woman outfit ever is still the one to the right (compared to the one they were going to use for the TV series on the left*shudder*) Which is rather embaressing, considering the right hand one is for a porno. But then that company still had a better looking Batsuit than the one in the Nolan movies too, as well as a proper Catwoman outfit.

Yeah, I am kinda dreading the final look for Wonder Woman myself. After that failed TV pilot, my expectations are not that high. I'd like to see something that pays homage to the original look while offering something new (something more gladiator perhaps) but I'm sensing they'll use her New 52 look. And that is one look I'm not a big fan off.

Well, we only have the one pic, but it doesn't look bad.

Eh. The ears almost always look silly. They're bat ears, after all. On a human head.

Ok seriously, Is anyone still hoping this movie will be fun? or at least have some sort of positive outlook? because what I am seeing is another dark and gritty movie.
Even in a teamup movie, I'd hope Batman would be somewhat dark.

Either that or something from a creepypasta

Oh, he's a good enough actor, he just tends to only be decent in a fairly limited range.

The New 52 look could be worse, at least they got rid of that stupid trousers and jacket combo they had going on (because seriously what the fuck was that?), its....servicable. But considering they went old school with Batmans outfit, as the new 52 Batsuit has an armored motif going on, they might well take the Frank Miller Wonder Woman outfit too. I'd be happy if they went with something akin to her Kindom Come armor crossed with Xenas armor,(though without the wings and helmet) I've always preferred WW having a more greco roman look.

Oh, God! As soon as you mentioned Frank Miller's version of Wonder Woman, I immediately had the frightening vision that this movie might be using either Dark Knight Strikes Again or All-Star Batman & Robin as reference material. That is basically my worst fear since Snyder seems to be leaning towards the visual ascetics of The Dark Knight Returns for Batman; that this movie is gonna be a total wank-fest to Frank "insane in the membrane" Miller's period of work. An entire movie where Ben Affleck is portraying Crazy Steve as he screams "I'm the Goddamn Batman!" while Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is merely a sex toy for Henry Cavill's Superman to win as they cause natural disasters due to them boinking in space.

If you're having trouble understanding what I'm rambling about, go watch Linkara's reviews of Frank Miller's work.

http://atopfourthwall.blogspot.com/search/label/Miller%20Time

OK, I'm definitely overreacting here. But, given the fact that DC Comics/Warner Bros is currently operating on "Don't give a fuck" mode with these characters, this is one fear that won't go away. o_o
