The Atlus announcement on sunday

I'm just curious as to what you guys think the announcement might be.

Whatever it is, anything Persona related will have me in tears of joy. I know it's the same team that made the Persona games, and with the pictures of Teddie on the teaser sight, I'm thinking it'll be some kind of second chapter to Persona 4. No matter what it is, I'm excited.

So what do you guys think?

All I know is there will be a Persona 5, it will be on 3DS, and the primary color scheme will be purple. Bet on it.

That might not be the Sunday news though.

Someone already hacked the registry I heard and the website is going the change to persona 5.

Right after the P3 movie ends in japan they are suppose to run a trailer for 5

I hope is Persona 5, that would be fucking awesome...

And I also hope is a stand alone game and not a sequel to Arena, nothing agaisnt Arena. But Arena's plot should resolve on Arena, maybe a Persona 5 Arena with all returning characters + new ones from P5.

Also I will be probably not playing it since it will probably be a next gen game, unless comes out on Pc also.(I have no hopes for that.)

Of them (outside the platformer), I think this is the least likely. They already re-released it once (Golden), and with Arena having Yu Narukami, it would be pointless to add a female route for a game with an already canon main character.

Well, it's 100% gonna be Persona related. But, I have 3 guesses of what that might be.
1)Persona 5-HECK YEAH!
2)Persona 4 Volume 2-HECK YEAH!
3)Persona 4 Golden rerelease-If it comes with Female Protagonist route HECK YEAH!
I don't think it could possibly be anything else.

They already announced a P4A sequel so presumably that story would be continued there.

OT: My personal guess is Persona 5

I want Persona 5 or a non-Arena Persona 4 continuation.
If so, preferably I want it to come out on PS3. A handheld/3DS exclusive is worse case scenario.

I'm hoping for Persona 5. But expecting some form of free to play mobile only card based game. That what all these announcements seem to be lately.

Persona 5/Persona 4 Golden 2 or whatever they wanna go with it. Super excited. Do want more of P4G cast.

I think they're going to announce Persona 5. I really hope I'm right; I can't wait to see what it'll look like.

Hopefully Persona 5 or Persona 4.5 with the continuation from Arena. It would make more sense to have titles as Persona 4: *Subtitle* for the Persona 4 cast and then Persona 5 for a totally new cast and location.

I would like a proper Persona 5 though, Persona 4 was great but let's stop milking it for no reason mmk? One more proper huge JRPG to finish Arena's story then move on. Not gonna lie though I would really like to see Labrys in a proper turn based battle, maybe even as the main character.

I've heard things of a Persona 3 anime as well which is a good thing since my problems with Persona 3 was just how shit the main character was and the anime can build a proper character arc around him now. GOD how I hate that guy!

Typical dickhead loner anime protagonist is fair enough, little bit odd for a friendship game but they'll do the obvious and develop him out of that right? No? He's a **** throughout the entire game? #1 best character writing ever, well done Atlus.

Just the vast gulf between his shit writing and the brilliant writing of the entire rest of the cast pretty much ruins the game :/

I hope its Persona 5. Nothing against P4, but I'm past it at this point and am ready for P5. and yeah i've seen the spoiler, still hoping for P5

I'd like to see them announce something new rather than have them keep milking series. That's how things grow old. Though my guess is something related to P4A.

My gut is telling me it's going to be a Persona 4 title where you get to pick the gender of your main character, extra dungeons, different dialogue options...

But my inner fangirl wants it to be Persona 5 with character customization, including you get to pick the gender.

However, if I had to choose an option... let it be Persona-related... like Persona 5, where the main color scheme is red to counter-act the blue Persona 3 and the yellow Persona 4...

I think that there will be multiple announcements (hence the three boxes). What I believe are the most likely options:

1. Persona 4-2
2. Persona 5
3. Persona 4 the Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold console port (fuck that's a long name)
4. Persona 4 Golden PS3 release

I'd be happy with any of these except for a Golden re-release. Persona 4-2 or Persona 5 would make me the happiest person alive
