Hey all. I have a little game i've stolen from another forum, here goes.

You have a button. Each press kills a random person on the earth, and awards you 100$.
You can push the button multiple times if you'd like. No one will ever know if you have pushed the button.

Would you do it?

Haha you have, of course,seen the eponymous twilight zone episode? You are assured that will not know the person who is killed. When the button is taken from you, you are only told it will be given to someone you 'do not know'.

oh and no, no button press.

While I personally would not, I can safely say that my Avatar of the Dark Lord would willingly press that button all day and night until every last human had died. He would likely donate the money to whomever came up with the device.

And yes, I recall the Twilight Zone episode. No, it doesn't influence my decision; my decision was made even considering the possiblity that I myself or a loved one may be killed. If I assuredly will not be killed, nor anyone I know, then, I'm pressing that thing a couple more times for good measure. Eventually, I and my loved ones will be killed somewhere along the button's path. Until then, hey, free money.
