I honestly do not see the appeal of Adventure Time. What puts me off is the rather bland character designs.

Like their eyes, is it that hard to draw a proper eye instead of just a black dot? I mean Superman's eyes from the Animated Series looks less bland then this.

And if your going to Cosplay shows from Cartoon Network, cosplay as Dexter, or Jonhhy Bravo, or the Powerpuff Girls. Or the Kids Next Door.

So you take cartoony designs and down play them for every day use... cool, you're like a fashion version of Art Attack.

The simplistic designs are a large part of the appeal, child like and fun on top, weird and slightly disturbing underneath.
