Well I saw the Britain poll, and it got me thinking what people think of Canada. I thought I could get some intelligent thoughts from people around the world. Anything goes.

I think of an ex gf who came from Ontario. Been there a few times; to Alberta, and BC - really nice place. So yeh, I think of good things (the ex and I broke up amicably, still remain good friends.)

Canada, eh?

[EDIT] OH! Intelligent thoughts. Well, that's different. I like Canada, but I've never been there. Okay, better way of saying it is that I like the Canadians I've met.

Lived here all my life. Nice Country although I could do without the ridiculous winters in Eastern Canada, specifically Quebec (the French thing is also rather irritating here)

Canada is a cool place. I have some quarrels with the health care system, though.

I lived in BC for a couple years. Nice people, but nothing much different if you've grown up on the west coast, aside from everything being in two languages that is.

Canada am dumber than chicken nugget

Intelligent enough for you.

Also, if they have a constitution, are against religion in their government, and actually don't let it in their government, they're already much better than the U.S

Canada is an excellent example of a country that has their shit straight.

America is an excellent example of a country that doesn't.

I'm an American.

You might want to back that argument up, cuz the last time I checked niether the Pope, Dalai Lama nor Budda ever had a say in what America does.

Great country. Only places I'd rather live are Germany, Finland, or Norway. I'd probably move to Norway.

Did I imply they did?
And, gay marriage and stem cells being illegal.

No, but the last time I checked, the possibility obama was a muslim caused an uproar.

I win.

Well IF he wins come November, we'll deal with that. Until election, hes essencially harmless

and the exact situation on gay marriage varies by state, not American government as a whole.

Don't say irritating if you ever come back in Québec! You might get into a fight...

I'm from Québec and altough I don't feel Canadian at all, I admire many things in this country.
