"Yes, yes, save survivors, save the day, smile and look good on the holo-vids. Now if we can please get a move on, we should go to the cargo bay first, get my equipment, and work our way upwards."

He raised his pistol to the elevators.

"Raise your weapons, I'll call an elevator for us, whichever one opens, be prepared to fire on it in case we have any Geth waiting inside."

Val moved to the wall, and placed his hand on the elevator interface.

"Ready?"

'What the bloody hell is going on...' A rather hungover Kyle began as he rolled fluidly up the stairs into the second-class the hallway.

He had been awoken from his drunken slumber by the sound of gunfire below him, and shouting in the access corridor outside of his room. HE had stumbled to his feet after a few minutes of shouting at it to 'SHUT THE HELL UP,' realizing that they might be in imenent danger. Throwing on some clothes, he made his way outside his room and into the loud, chaotic ship, and began assessing the basics of the situation:

'There are goddamned robots killing everyone. I should go find people who aren't dead,' he reasoned with himself while trying to mentally wake up.

After a few minutes of jogging through the war-torn halls, and a few moments of letting the delayed adrenilene sober him up, Kyle made it to a second class access point. He had a plan now: get to the bridge or some sort of security station, and see how he could help. As he climbed the stairs, he came face to face with someone familiar.

----

'What the bloody hell is going on, and what can I do about it.'

Ripley gave Santius a strange look before closing the stairway door and running up the stairs. 'I might just have a stalker,' she thought to herself, hearing an elevator being called as she opened the dinner hall stairway exit. She was met with a dozen geth that were clearing out any of the survivors. She charged behind an over-turned table, wishing she had taken the geth assault rifle right now.

'Can't help that now. Should just continue sneaking by,' she thought, slowly making her way past the distracted geth and exiting through a side-door. 'I can get to the main elevators from here, perhaps guards will be there,' she thought.

Considering that I said a bunch of debris fell between them I doubt it. I guess the goal is to all get to the same area; I'm not really paying attention much at the current moment (researching buying tablets).

Jaroth and the in the hallway were holding steady, each new geth they killed provided them with more thermal clips to keep their guns firing. They weren't going to be able to hold out forever however, as the Geth were quickly escalating their numbers moving through the hallway. It also meant more would be flooding the other hallways that lead around their position. For whatever reason, the Geth were determined to kill everything on the ship. Their only choices were to escape to the lower floors and hope an escape pod was still there, or try to hold their current position and wait for a military vessel to come rescue them. He moved to the security room that they had been holding the weapons many of the officers were now using to fight for their lives and got on the intercom system. His Salarian voice and particular form of speech impediment giving away his species and the gunfire in the background giving away their current situation as he spoke.

"Any passenger still unaware, Geth are attacking ship. Get to escape pods and leave the ship immediately. Currently trying to hold Geth off in first floor hallway leading to command deck. Not sure how long will be able to hold out, if have not already evacuated, do so now. When position falls, Geth will overrun ship. Already using halls to move around position into other areas of ship, leave now."

He knew this might inspire a panic, but it had been long enough that the only people left on the ship would be stubborn holdouts thinking that the situation was under control or simply refused to leave their possessions. A panic in those particular people would do everyone on board a world of good. He hung the radio back up and went back to the line, using a singularity to buy the guards some time to reload.

"I think I'm drunk enough."

Illo stared down at the alcohol. It was a very nice shade of brown. It looked quite tasty.

"Well, I suppose I could have another.", he laughed, sitting down, "After all, if now isn't the time to get drunk, when is?"

"Let's not and say we did," Val said as he grabbed the drink from Illo. "If you can't piss straight, you better be able to shoot it."

"Alright, jeez. Let's go save the world instead. After all, what I want doesn't matter.", Illo moaned, rising up from the seat, bumping into and off of Val as he did so, "And I'll have you know, I can shoot even better under the influence of, of, err..."

He picked up the nearby bottle to check it's label.

"Ryncol? Holy crap, I nearly downed a glass of toxic!"

Ripley sat down for a second to think about what she had just heard from the intercom. 'Geth? Here? Weren't they gone. This isn't good. Not good,' she thought, watching a geth walk by from her vantage point, 'I should help stop them. Help everyone.' She snuck past another geth as she made her way to the security hall that Jaroth was at.

There were a number of geth in her way, some she was able to take out with a charge while large groups she had to past. She acquired a geth shotgun and put it to good use against them.

She looked down the main stairway and saw some security guards holding a line from the geth. 'Found them,' she thought, shooting a few geth from behind before charging her way past the line. "On your side," she quickly said to the confused guards.

Jaroth turned when he heard a geth shotgun fire from behind them, ready to kill it if it were a Geth. Seeing a Turian he quickly nodded his head once before turning back around and reopening fire on the Geth. He asked Ripley a question as he kept firing.

"Know how many evacuated from ship yet?"

"I honestly don't know. I helped some people out in first class, they're probably trying to make it there as we speak. I haven't seen anyone since I started making my way over here, only seen geth," she replied, throwing a shockwave at a group of geth that were making their way towards them.

"Guess that is good thing. If first level empty except for Geth, could give us opportunity to retreat soon enough. Two options and two options only for us now, fight until ship evacuates and hope pods are left, or try to push forward and most likely die." Jaroth thought out loud as he lifted an enemy before throwing it into a group of Geth.

"I know where the bar is in 2nd class. Does that help?"

Illo checked his omni-tool, looking for any kind of route down to the middle decks.

"Looks like the Advent is pretty tight on the mapping of this place. Or atleast, it is as of now. Who knows what those Geth could do. You got any kind of plan, "big damn hero"?"

"Sheesh, fine."

Illo followed behind Santius, though at half the speed. A few rounds pinged off of his shields, but he wasn't too concerned. His shields would hold.

"Where are we going to exactly?"

"Damn." Sal said as she followed the Turians. "We should head to the cargo hold, could be supplies there." she said as a few round pinged of her shields.

Val fired a few shots around the corner at the Geth.

"Well the two of you are Quarians, and I have yet to meet one of you who can't make a computer do anything you damn well want. Call an elevator one floor below us and open the shaft up. We can ride on top of the thing."

"Sorry Salarian, the Turian has a point." She said as she fired a few burst shots down the hall dropping a geth. "Also could I get your names, I'd hate to have to call you by your races the entire time? Mines Sal'rena nar Hadran."

"Fine, go down the stairs and get to the cargo hold. They've got my guns there, and I'm sure they're holding weapons stored by others down there also. Oh, and call me Maleon, Mal for short."

"Illo Kryik.", he said, outstretching his arm once more, "Wait-- we've already met."

He then turned to the salarian he'd met before, as well as the new turian.

"Illo Kryik.", he repeated;
