Due to some problems in my life concerning schools, I am going to have to take a break from role playing for a few months. This means that I will have to drop all of my RP's, including this one. I know this is extremely unconvient for all of you, but I'm sure that you can keep this going without me. That being said if you want to continue you will need to find a new GM, Tsatoma is the logical choice, being the Co-GM, but she also has her own RP, so it might be better if someone else takes over.

I'll keep popping onto the Escapist now and again, so you can contact me if you want be to edit the OP, that is if you decide not to move the RP to a different thread. One piece of advice I can give right away is to finish this current chapter quickly, then come up with a reason for Yossar leaving, or just have him disappear mysteriosly, I can't complain.

I would suggest two GM's. It's worked so far, right?

From what I've seen, Tsatoma and tellmeimaninja would be the best choices.

I'll throw my lot in with Tsa. If there is to be a second one I would say we let her pick, since we would be making her lead GM. She is already the co-gm anyway, proper line of succession would nearly demand she take the lead unless she didn't want to. Captain picked a co-gm for himself, Tsa picks one for herself, and so on, and so on.

That sucks cap, oh well, such is life, Ripley as the leader of the group scares me though, she has been going kind of homicidal lately. And hey, I would make a great GM, only reason I haven't posted in a while is because nothing has been going on.

Well, as co-GM I feel it is my duty to step up and take the mantle of GM. Feel the mighty wrath~! >
I am sorry that won't be seeing you anymore Cap, you were a good GM! Q.Q

I will say now that I will put my baby (the roleplay I'll be starting up in a week or so and that I've been working on for months) before this one so if things start to become a hassle GMing two roleplays I will choose the other one over this (but if I do then just expect me to step down from the position, I'll probably still roleplay Ripley though).

As co-GM I nominate blaze96 since he is a very capable roleplayer and I know him well. If you guys have problems with this I don't give a damn, he's the person I trust the most.

"We seem to be getting less. Should we make a break for it? Down to the escape pods?" Ripley asked Jaroth and the guards, waiting anxiously for another geth attack along with the guards.

"If so we'd have to head all the way down to deck 5, then head through cargo. All the other pods have probably been taken by now except the reserves," one of the guards replied, ejecting a heat sink.

 

[blaze96]

"Cannot hold out against more attacks. Retreat best option. Need to move now though, before another attack wave. Stick to stairs, check corners, keep thermal clips at full. Move quickly, move quietly, avoid confrontation where possible. Primary objective is to escape ship alive with as many people as possible. Let's move." Jaroth said before they all began to fall back towards the stairs that would lead to the second level.

Ripley nodded and followed Jaroth and the guards as they made their way to the main stairway. One of the security officers punched in the code and they quickly started their descent.

"The sudden lack of geth is scary, I feel like they might just be luring us into a trap or something," Ripley said out loud, clutching her shotgun tightly.

"Stay vigilant, can not lay trap if see it before it is sprung." Jaroth said as he checked the area as he descended the stairs leading to deck 2. He was leading the group down the stairs as he had his full armor and more training than the guards. They had been trained to make sure pirates didn't raid the ship, not fend off a geth assault.

Sal turned and looked at the elevator as it began it's decent. "Looks like somethings coming down. May want to take cover." She said drawing her pistol and ducking behind an over turned table.

 

[tsatoma]

Everyone nodded at what Jaroth said, carefully lining up behind him as they got to the deck 2 exit. The security guard punched in the code and opened the door.

The geth in the hallway outside were dropped immediately, not even having a chance to retaliate as the group made their way out.
"Do we look for survivors? Have them join us?" Ripley asked Jaroth.

 

[Misaek]

" Wait, Sal'Rena, do you have an extra weapon, I don't have one." Dimir asked frightened as he was unarmed

 

[blaze96]

"Best chance for survival, if people are left will need help. If have experience fighting will also prove valuable to us. Should always check. Will probably avoid stair now that they know Geth are attacking, will be thinking stairs are deathtraps." Jaroth said as he made his way towards the stairwell and elevator on Deck 2.

 

[sage42]

"Yeah here, take this." Sal said tossing Dimir her SMG. As every one got into cover the elevator stopped and they heard foot steps on the floor above.

I think so Ninja. I believe our whole group is out side the elevator on the secound floor and Jaroth is about to run into us.

 

[tsatoma]

Ripley charged and took out a geth that was about to fire on the small group from cover. She motioned that the coast was clear ahead of them and the group quickly made their way through the deck 2 corridors.

"Elevator and stairwells are right up ahead. Surprised we haven't seen anyone yet," one of the guards mentioned, trying to ease the tension.
"Probably most have escaped to the lower decks or are dead," Ripley responded, going into cover around the corner from the elevator and motioning them to move forward.

 

[blaze96]

"Alarm I activated probably got most people out before Geth flooded lower levels. Message probably caused even more people to leave, holdouts mostly." Jaroth said as he looked around a corner.

Yea Ninja, I'm assuming everyone who isn't me or Ripley is on Deck 2 waiting for that elevator. We are going to meet up with you guys and make good our escape. We are using the stairs by the way, both Tsa and I are confused about the elevator thing.

"Thanks" Dimir said to Sal'Rena "You guys ready for whatever is coming up that elevator?" Dimir asked to calm himself with conversation.
