Yossar took a look at what one of the girls he that passed by, she wasn't really wearing what most people would call "clothes," She seemed to have some sort of small hidden pack that created a dense cloud area around her chest and lower body.
" Vapor-wear, humph, I swear if I ever caught my daughter in something like that I'd go ballistic."
"Who are you- woah. I see your point. I think my dad would go ballistic if I were to wear anything close to that," Ripley said watching the young Asari walk by them, "I don't see how you could even be comfortable in that. I'd feel too exposed."
" I think that's the point, most of these kids were this kind of stuff not because they actually think it's stylish, but because it get's under their parent skin. Dimir, if the girl was hanging out around here you might be right about the running away scenario."
"Asari teenagers have an odd sense of style," Ripley replied, looking over at the club every couple of seconds. "I hope we can find the girl quickly. Every second that passes is a chance of finding her gone," she said.
Jaroth walked up to the door only to be stopped by the two Asari guards. He was prepared for this and spoke immediately as they stopped him.
"Need to enter, urgent business with owner. Sensitive nature, will only discuss in private." he started, purposefully not giving his hand away first thing.
The Bouncers looked at Jaroth with a bit of amusement, they just thought he was some sad Salarian trying to sneak his way in and catch some Asari tail.
"No dice horn-skull, Asari only." Said the one on the right.
Jaroth leaned closer to the guards as if he didn't want the other patrons to hear.
"I think I miscommunicated. The information has to deal with disappearances, disappearances that can be linked with the club. If this information were to get out it would cause agencies and families to ask questions, compromising security. I will only discuss in more depth with owner."
The two bouncers looked at each other uncomfortably, obviously they had heard about the disappearances as well, but they weren't ready to give up just yet.
"What, kind of evidence?" Asked the one on the left suspiciously.
"Datapad entries and ink from the club on clothing. Enough evidence to identify multiple missing Asari as frequent visitors of the club. Lucky I found it first, media would have jumped on story if journalist found it."
Again the bouncers shared that same uncomfortable look with each other.
" I'm calling this in," said the one on the right, she turned away and pressed the com-link on her throat. "Boss. Ya theres a situation. A Salarian, says he can link us to the disappearances. You want to meet them? Understood."
Finally she returned to face Jaroth, "Alright, you and your friends can talk to the boss, go through the alley and enter through the side entrance, she'll meet you there. And don't cause any trouble."
"I do not plan on causing trouble." Jaroth said before turning and walking back to the group.
"We are meeting the owner using an entrance in the side alley. Be cautious, could very well be trap designed to kill us and take evidence for themselves."
For the delay, had a lot of work that needed to be cleared out of the way, I should be good for the rest of the day.
"Copy, we'll meet you there."
After going through the alley and then a into the back rooms of the club, the team finally arrived at the owners office. It was a large room, not only holding a desk, chairs and all other things necessary for business, but also holding several things for entertaining company, like a mini-bar, small dance floor, a large couch, and a entertainment center. The room easily accommodate the team, the owner, and the 8 Asari body guards the owner had brought in. Yossar eyed the guards cautiously, they probably didn't expect any action, he assumed they were there mostly there to keep his questions and actions, civil.
The owner sat down on the couch and motioned for the others to do so as well. Yossar took a seat, and began, " Thank you for being able see us Ms...."
"Dorna," The Asari responded quickly, she was very serious, clearly she didn't like the idea of a bunch of aliens walking in and questioning her business. "I hear you have some unpleasant insinuations concerning my club."
"I wouldn't call them insinuations, rather, possible unpleasant conclusions." Yossar told her in a calm tone.
" Like what?" Dorna asked, her irritation seeping out of those words.
"A girl we have been hired to find frequented this club, we were hoping to you might have some information on her." Yossar was careful to choose his words so Dorna wouldn't think he was implicating her. Even if they're innocent, the moment you implicate someone makes them much more protective of their information.
"I've got at least a hundred Asari coming through here on any given night, give me a damn name."
"Heira Lon, she's 30, studies Xeno-biology."
"Heira," Dorna nodded, " Ya I remember a girl named Heira, what do you want to know?"
Ripley shifted uncomfortably after taking a seat, somewhat nervous at the guards. She told herself that this will be a simple exchange of information and that it wouldn't get violent, but she was still nervous nonetheless.
