ok, the pokemon one went down well, now it's Doctor Who's turn, post tricky trivia questions about Doctor Who, answer those of others and maybe reflect on your alarming knowledge later on. I'll start us off,

in "Doctor Who and the Daleks" Susan claims that the TARDIS has a security system that it would seem it doesn't have in modern episodes, describe that security system!

So I just love to talk about Doctor Who...my inner geek is showing!!

In which episode is it revealed that someone knows the Doctors name??

Also, in your opinion (if you know the answer to the question), when do you think was the only time that the doctor could tell anyone his name??

All of them. The Doctor always knows his name.

I would post an actual question instead of being a smartass, but my mastery of the Whoniverse is not great at all.

Would love to join in but I only discovered Dr. Who when it was revived with Christopher Eccelston.
So any newer questions and I'm in, but I'll have to sit out the older ones.

I'm sorry if I offended you, but I was talking about the episode 'Forest of the Dead' When David Tennant said there was only one time he could tell some one his name. He told River Song some time.

I only know the revived series as well.

See, I knew the answer to your question, but then I thought `Oh snap, what if that has happened before in the older series?`
It might be useful for people to clarify if they're talking about Old Who or New Who.

How about this, What does the TARDIS prefer to be called?
I think you're referring to the episode `The Doctor's Wife` (one of my newer favourites), when the Doctor asks the TARDIS if she has a name and she replies "I think you call me... Sexy"
So yeah, Sexy.

Trying to think of a good question back, but it's late so I might try again tomorrow. I don't wanna make it too easy or impossibly difficult, lol.

For the original question, it wouldn't be the Chameleon circuit, would it? I think it's been mentioned once or twice in the new series (which would disqualify it), but I can't remember for sure. There's also that forcefield from the NuWho Series 1 finale, but I doubt that would be it, either.

Somehow completely missed the second post, depsite reading the rest of the thread. Fail.
