The Escapist should really consider this for the forums.

I find the whole system of "Anonymous Source, Paperboy, Copy Clerk, Beat Writer, .... ect. Gone Gonzo" to be a bit monotonous. They really could have put that as another level of customization. Now, the litte caption could start out always being like that, but then, with each passing "Post #" rank up, another slew of clever little phrases could be unlocked. If you win some contest or acieve something TRULY monumental, you could even be prompted to submit a phrase to a moderator for them to consider letting you use. Here are some examples:

While I don't particularly like the above choices (no offense), it's a good idea. Perhaps there could be new ones at 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, up to about 4000. It would make it a bit more interesting.

So, (as you have obviously avoided my question) what you are trying to say is that you want a title system (much like that in WoW) for people on these forums? Like if I wanted to be a muckraker instead of an Infamous Scribbler I could just pull down a menu and pick that one instead?

Not sure how WoW got its way into the discussion, and I don't really have the faintest inkling on anything related to WoW, but I guess so. You would have a title, and you could pick from some wide range of titles (picked by the Escapist community, of course) that are unlocked at different post counts.
