I don't really like naming people in case I forget anyone, but here it goes anyway. These are people I recognise for various reasons - some I've actually talked to, some I've just noticed around. If I do forget you, I'm sorry.
Oh and, sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Daye.04 is the man I credit for getting me more involved in the forums all those months ago, and he's just great fun to talk with.
Fanboy has a special place in my heart for making the avatar you see to the left. I will never stop praising him for it!
ShockValue, Berethond, ae86gamer, and Zombie_Fish are all old pals from forum games. And they're still fun to babble with.
Baby Tea is great for so many reasons. He's one hell of a mod, and his radio show thread entertains me every time.
Random Argument Man...well, he's just fucking classy. And along with Incredible Bullshitting Man, he's got the three word name down to an art form.
BonsaiK is full of solid advice and points, and he made the Relationship thread.
IdealistCommi has been in the forum games regularly, and remains entertaining. Plus, he's a regular PM contact.
Inverse Skies is another classy user, has made several quality threads that still <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.106553>come <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.151090>in <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.106909>handy, and is a pleasure to talk with.
Labyrinth founded the Artist Thread, and is another great mod.
NewClassic is one hell of a writer, and puts some serious effort into his posts. This makes them things of wonder to read. And he put my spine back together in IRC.
Portal Maniac is...well...awesome. I can't really say much more than that. he knows he's loved! XD
Pimppeter2 is a great reviewer, and fun to babble with in forum games. That's quite enough for a mention.
Sassafrass keeps my head meat entertained, behaves well, and stays pleasant to talk with.
VaudevillianVeteran is going to take my spot one day soon, but she's another pleasant poster. Plus, she doesn't get into trouble, and damn can she spew creative nonsense when she wants to.
WanderFreak speaking of spewing creative nonsense...this man is the king of randomness. His Ranty Reviews are just amazing, and his presence in the Asylum always destabilizes things in the best kind of way.
If I forgot you, just add your name into the list somewhere that'll make you feel better!

On topic, aside from obvious forum celebs like Fubert and Hublibub, the two people I know and interact with most are NeutralDrow and lordlee (I have a degree of platonic love for the former, at least in internet terms). I'm also familiar with Suiseiseki IRL, pimppeter2, Hail Fire 998, and in a different sense Internet Kraken.

Woah! Okay, I was expecting that. People like him were great for the forum, but inevitably they run out of second chances. I'm assuming his banning was like that of Max or Richard, where it was one of those "straws that broke the camel's back" kind of situations. Usually folks don't eat a permaban for "lolwut."

On topic: Lots of people, in some respects too many to count so just go on my friends page and count every user you see there.
I usually notice an avatar that's familiar rather then a post count, because an avatar is like a face and a post count is like a career. Unless they are wearing a uniform you cannot see someone's career but you'll always recognise a familiar face.

Well it might sound somewhat false now, but when you first signed up I was really happy to see a mature poster defending Halo. I was a hater for a long time, then one day I played Halo and Halo 2 and fell in love with them. Sure, the original is the best, but they're both excellent games. Sometimes it can be hard not to let hype backlash poison me against games, so Halo has become sort of a little object lesson for me that sometimes a game the public holds up as good (or movie, or book, or comic) really can be quite enjoyable.

No, I think he pretty much gave up. He edited a large number of recent posts to "lolwut", briefly used [user]kukul[/user]'s avatar, and put a couple of quotes from banned users in his profile.
