i generally hit reddit and check the karma of my pathetic rage comics.

Escapist, then depending on the day Penny Arcade and xkcd or the Trenches comic. Also keep up with minecraft.net and bay12games.com, although I haven't played DF since I first tried out Minecraft. I got the feeling that the difference between Mojang and Bay12 is that while they tend to break gameplay mechanics at the same rate, Mojang seems to be more willing to fix them so the game remains fun to play, while Bay12 would rather make sure that the economies of civilizations you'll never interact with behave realistically - but in a buggy, broken way that makes some of them die off without fail - during worldgen. I like to play games made by people who haven't forgotten that they're games.
