That is, as is stated by others, a false website. The actual website, http://theflatearthsociety.org/cms/ , is quite serious. Are you ready to descend into the crazy? Because these guys have plenty. The last time I checked that place out, there was a 7 minute video of a guy arguing the existence of nuclear weapons. He said Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Trinity, and the French Polynesians weren't proof.

This one unfortunately is not a hoax, unlike the link that the OP provided.
Beat me to it.

Oh my god, you found idiots on the internet! What a rare thing.
Idiots? On the internet?
Good Lord, what next? I assume the next scandalous discovery will be pornographic images or somesuch.
There's porn on the internet. What What What

You mean to say that no longer do I have to squint through multicolored and constantly moving images that sometimes resemble a person. Those sounds tell me something is going on that sounds fun. But then sometimes its just static again. What gives? Hooray for free porn.

I say! And next thing you know, there will be pictures of cats with funny captions!
What has this world come to?

On topic: It's a joke, and a damn funny one at that.

Will those cats be somehow pornographic as well. That would be the best of both internet worlds.

On Topic . . . . . . . .

Maybe all curves become flat at some point. Think about it.

Or Don't, I did just make it up.

I thought these people were being serious 'till I read that little disclaimer. It is a joke site. The disclaimer is the little easter egg that one has to find in order to understand that. While I am sure that there may be a Flat Earth Society somewhere, knowing how many nuts there are in the world, this is not their home site. Also, look at the Current Events section for further proof that this is a faux website.

Well if there is a flat Earth society I hope they're removed from the gene pool.

It's a pretty funny hoax though.

"The Flat Earth Society is not in any way responsible for the failure of the French to repel the Germans at the Maginot Line during WWII. Nor is the Flat Earth Society responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue hamster insurrectionist group. Furthermore, we are not responsible for the loss of one or more of the following, which may possibly occur as the result of exposing one's self to the dogmatic and dangerously subversive statements made within: life, limb, vision, Francois Mitterand, hearing, taste, smell, touch, thumb, Aunt Mildred, citizenship, spleen, bedrock, cloves, I Love Lucy reruns, toaster, pine derby racer, toy duck, antelope, horseradish, prosthetic ankle, double-cheeseburger, tin foil, limestone, watermelon-scented air freshner, sanity, paprika, German to Pig Latin dictionary, dish towel, pet Chihuahua, pogo stick, Golf Digest subscription, floor tile, upper torso or halibut.

Congratulations, you know what it's like to be around creationists.

Hey, don't you guys have that creation museum down there? What state was that in? I lol'd at the triceritops with the saddle.
There are creationist museums all over the south. Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, and a couple others.
I prefer to call them by their proper name "moron gathering centers". And yes, the site is a joke, just read the disclaimer, though there is a serious flat earth society tht's full of morons.

"The complexities of Efimovich's theory, that theory's convoluted nature and dependence on flawed logic and the omission of obstructions make it nearly impossible to understand at all, let alone understand why anyone would believe such dribble."

That was from their website. Seriously, are these people retarded? Anyways OP, thanks for those lulz, you made my day..... and it's only 00:30.

Edit: just read the disclaimer, pretty funny. Although there is a real one out there, just probably not as public.

No, these people are serious unfortunately. I've heard of them before. People just like to argue, even if it's been proven otherwise.
I'm sure there are people out there who still believe the world is flat, but I doubt the creators of this website are among them. The site is drenched in sarcasm and there's a nifty little disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

This joke is so funny precisely because the Flat Earth Society actually exists, and those folks aren't joking. Ah Internet, how you doth give unto us so many ridiculous things...
