How many of you guys remember Enter the Freeman [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgEx1g9dW4]? A fair few, I imagine. You may also remember that a follow up web-series, The Freeman Chronicles, is in the works.
Or perhaps not, since its indiegogo project [http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/half-life-live-action-web-series-the-freeman-chronicles?c=home] is grossly underfunded, in my opinion.
Less than seven grand out of the goal of $75,000 has been raised for this project (at the time of writing this, anyway), an absolutely pathetic amount. How is it that the fundraiser for a web-series of one of gaming's most beloved franchises is, well, not getting funded? Especially when you see kickstarters with as big, or bigger, goals getting funded in much shorter time-frames.
With the general impatience for Half-Life 3 that permeates the consumer base of the industry, you'd think that this little project would be setting the internet ablaze, leaving nothing but charred remains in its wake. Instead, it seems like almost no-one's bothering.
What's the problem? Is it because it's not on kickstarter? Is Half-Life just not as popular as it once was? Are people just not that interested?
Dammit internet, y u no consistent?
@ Mods: Wasn't sure if this was the right place for it or not, so I won't complain if you decide to move this elsewhere.
