The little things that make you happy.

There is too much doom and gloom going on for my liking. In the "real world" all I am getting is the usual crap with the governments being tools, wars over pointless things and obviously my own problems. In the gaming world it's all sexism and drama.

So let's discuss something more enjoyable. The little things that make your day, cheer you up or just genuinely put you in a good mood.

Here's some of mine:

- Getting a new book to read.
- When a song I really like comes on the radio while working (rare, considering my music tastes).
- The realisation of not having work the next day and knowing I can have a lie in (I work really early mornings so getting to sleep for me is like getting to party for normal people).
- Having time to myself after a busy/loud day.

Getting a new book to read is one of mine. I love the smell of a new book.
Having my dogs jump on the bed to have hugs with me.
When the cats are sitting with me and they start purring and want my attention.
When my boyfriend smiles at me.
Having a PJ day on sundays, it feels good.
When one of my dogs decide to stop and bark at a plane. She always thinks she can run after them.
Climbing into a fresh clean bed after a long day.
When a song I like comes on.
Putting on a shiny necklace.
Waking up to see my boyfriend is online. I'm a bit of a sap.
The little Christmas lights that are in my room.
Seeing the names of Beanie Babies, it just makes me go "awww! I won't ever sell you I promise!"
Watching my big Rottweiler cuddle and mother my little kitten, she always cleans her, wraps herself around her when she's sleeping on a cushion. It's adorable, my Rottweiler thinks she is the kitten's mother. Whenever someone gets the assumption my dog will eat theirs, even though mine is terrified of other dogs and runs away from them, I want to shout "Stop! Look at this picture! Look how adorable she is and how friendly she actually is!" It makes me happy watching how well all my pets get along.
Finding a good visual novel.
Edit: Watching my puppy Rottweiler actually play with another dog. She's so scared of everyone and every dog, it's so nice to watch her run around with another dog and play and make friends.

I do quite like it when people appreciate my dazzlingly classy humour (not limited to, but including, on facebook. It's nice when I get a lot of likes on stuff). I'm also rather partial to Dr Pepper. Having a glass of it makes the whole day better. Finding new music is always great, or finding that one song I remember listening to years ago, like this:

I just generally tend to enjoy every little thing as much as possible.
