I want to say the Suikoden series since I almost never see any Suikoden fans. BUT I will go with Record of the Argarest War Zero, nobody I talk to has any idea what the hell it is. Hell it doesn't even have English voice overs

The Suffering. It's a surprisingly good horror/shooter. And I've never met one person who's heard of it.
I have. now give me a cookie. on a side note the most obscure game I own is Shantae for gbc. I bought it or 8 bucks at a store that supposedly specializes in rare games..... Pfffft AHAHAHAHAHA!

edit: in case you don't get it look for the game on Amazon or Ebay. then you'll understand why that's so funny.

Pac Pix for the DS. Its a pacman game where you draw pacman in with the stylus and then he keeps going straight forward and eats any enemies he meets on the way. Heres some gameplay footage.

I know it's not supposed to be an obscure game, but I don't know anybody who's got it... Master of Orion 2. A freaking great game. I played it at least 500 hours or more.
Loved MOO2. And MOO1 for that matter.
And I always loved saying "Moo" :D (ok, that's juvenile, I know).

Probably Dark Chronicle for the ps2. Best dungeon crawler ever created but it goes for about £40+ these days which is pretty good
I also have the secret of mana which can go for £50+

Oh also for PC there's Space Station Sim. I've only seen one copy of it anywhere which I bought as soon as I saw it.

I found out about Space Staion Sim after looking online for something that was like a game I used to love on the C64 called Project Space Station.

yeah it's awesome. the only bad thing I can say about it is that the camera is to close the the player character but aside from that it's good.

By "own" you propably mean "have a physical copy lying around". Because I've played some really obscure indie stuff. Anyhoo, let's see here *shuffles through shelf*

It would be Startopia, Eartworm Jim 3D or possibly Anachronox.

EDIT: Oh right, first place goes to Dreams to reality. Possibly because I want to forget that thing exists. A buggy platformer where going into the menu requires a slow theatrical gesture WHILE THE GAME KEEPS RUNNING and most enemies are so short your standard kick attack won't hit them. I wrote an essay on how much I hate that game somewhere on this forum.

Gun Nac for the NES. It's a surprisingly satisfying arcade shooter with weird story (if you can call it a story), tough levels, and I've never met anyone who has ever heard of it.

Chakan: The Forever Man for the Sega Game Gear. It's the only Game Gear game I ever beat, and I barely did.

I picked up these choice bits of gaming obscura around the mid noughties while investing extreme gaming for a uni course.

1. National Socialist Party of America's Doom Mod:
Shootin black NPCs + Nazi speeches...awful.

2. Ominous Horizons: A Paladin's Journey:
A Christian FPS from N'Lightening Software that uses Biblical scrolls as med packs...and Biblical pedants even choose which version of Psalm 29:11 is used on the scrolls!!!

3. Under Seige Demo (for Underash):
Afkar Media's tedious pro-Palestinian/anti-Israeli FPS, & although this indie game engine's made out of cardboard their grenade targeting uses the same 3-D predictive-path system as that other obscure AAA game Gears of War.

The trick is, when you hit the bottom of the barrel: keep digging :)

Rule of Rose, a survival/horror game that Atlus published on PS2.

I bought it for my wife because she gushed over it since she saw the first previews. She loves horror stuffs that use the "creepy little girl" archetype...yeah, my wife is weird.

Most obscure game I have is Ephemeral Fantasia for the ps2. Great and very long game, but it is one of those jrpgs you have to have a guide while you play...
