I believe this has not been mentioned yet.

Whichever Sith lord that Revan and Malak found on the outer reaches of the galaxy, who caused then to turn to the dark side, seek out the Star Forge, and almost destroy the galaxy, all while just sitting back and watching, if I knew who it was, I'd give him the most awesome medal ever.

There was no Sith lord that corrupted Revan and Malak, Malak was corrupted by the (I'm not even gonna spoiler this because if you haven;t played KoTOR by now you can go kill yourself)

Now according to every single wiki-esque thing on the internet said there was a sith lord who corrupted them, and now you are telling me there wasn't, I am confused. And also, I have played KOTOR, and it's the only Bioware RPG I played that didn't absolutely suck.

Hmm, that's the first time I'm hearing about this haha. I'll have to look into that a little more.

Apparently Revan and Malak traveled to the outer rim, of the galaxy, found a sith emperor, and returned to the republic as sith.

Ha, damn, now that I had time to look it up, you're right. I feel like a dumbass now, and I have a Star Wars tattoo. Shame on me.

Anakin Skywalker would have been the most powerful Jedi or Sith ever, if not for his constant conflict.

And it also depends on how you define "most powerful". If domination is the ultimate goal of the Sith, Darth Sidious wins as he was the only Sith to ever successfully rule the galaxy. In terms of raw power, it was my understanding that Exar Kun delved deeper into and in turn had greater power in the Dark Side than anyone else.

And unless I am mistaken, the most powerful Light Jedi turned out to be Luke. He was quite bad ass during the Swarm War.

Yoda because so far he's the only jedi to die of old age. Everyone else is either killed or how they died hasn't been reviled.

Luke died of old age. I suspect there were a great many other Jedi who also died of old age.

Master Yoda. He trained Luke, and saved the empire and thus deserves the title as most powerful Jedi.

Porkin for the jedi, he was the best jedi out there. He let himself get killed as he was too bored with such lowly tasks as 'destroy the death star' He was used to destroying sith universes.

Otherwise i'm not sure, the problem that seems to happen in all this cannon is once someone is super strong, the next piece of canon has to go that one step further, so they become the most powerful thing in the universe.

So my vote goes to what ever the next piece of canon is.

He can destroy entire planets... but he got his ass kicked by a broken jedi by the third round.

because of obsidians bad programing I bet he was tougher before they had to cut things out

So... if Obsidian were better at programming, Nihilus wouldn't have ultimately gotten his ass kicked by a broken jedi and his blind slave?

If you own the PC version of Kotor 2, download the Restored Content Mod and replay the game, why and how Nihilus is defeated is made much, much more clear through the restored content and dialogue.

Simply put: It's likely the only person who could have defeated Nihilus 'was' the exile, and only the exile, because both the exile and Nihilus alike were... creations, so to speak, of the battle of Malachor V. And in a way polar opposites of one another. If you want more clarity on that you'll either have to replay the game or read this let's play which explains it.
