I bought a new cardigan for the summer. I do enjoy cardigans and the fact that I only owned incredibly thick ones pained me deeply. This new one is made of thin material and it breathes, yet it isn't opaque, so I can wear vivids underneath it as well.

That's so cool... Thinkgeek is just one of those websites that hates my wallet and wants it empty X3.

For me it was a tank of gas yesterday and a couple Warhammer 40k books, Baneblade and Deliverance Lost from the Horus Heresy series.
Are they any good? I have a copy of nearly every Warhammer 40k and a lot of Fantasy books I got for free trough work, but I haven't read a single one of them X3. I have only a small interest in the game and universe =p. My roomie reads them a lot, so do a few of my Warhammer-loving friends. There is a whole box of them in my PC room, I don't even have shelfspace for them all D=.
The WH40k books in general or the two I bought? In General I have enjoyed everyone except maybe 2 or 3 and I have read over 60 or 70 books and 10 or so compilations of short stories based in the Warhammer universe. My friends and I usually trade them back and forth and only 1 of the 4 of us will actually buy each one, we just keep track of who has what. Of these books I am about 3/4ths through Baneblade and it is really good.

I love the WH universe and have played all the computer games and read a lot of the books but I have never played the tabletop game beyond the basic on they show you when you are interested at a Game Workshop store. I just can't afford to drop that kind of money on a army nor do I have the time to paint one as I work full time, am a 3/4 full time student and have a wife and 6 year old at home. I am lucky in that I can do all 8 hours of my work in 3 so I can fuck off the rest of the day and read books or surf the net while getting paid.

MY KSC TP9 air gun

Works great as long as i use whole bullets, which is difficult since it destroyed my cheap net bullet catching target holder
Bit too loud, i worry about my neighbors hearing it
I ordered the special suppressor but both i AND the seller screwed up the order so it is going to take a while to see if i can make that work

Altogether, it was a bag of chocolate chip cookies, some fudge ice cream, aloe hand sanitizer and a jar of Jif peanut butter (because that's the only peanut butter my little sister eats).

Not counting food, though... a couple of manga: one involving Phoenix Wright, and Volume 10 of Bakuman. Also a white, short sleeve work shirt, now that summer's coming, though that was bought like an hour before the manga.

Haha Yeah, My wallet isn't all to happy about it.
The $99 for the chest I was fine with but the shipping cost an extra $44 witch kinda sucked >_<
Ohw yeah, that stings X3. I get to feel that a lot too with certain items, in my country certain things (such as clothes) have a very expensive import tax. At times I have payed nearly double what the item was worth just to get it here! (and the worst part is, they were STILL cheaper than buying them in a local store! X3)

This may sound kind of racist if you've never seen a store like this, but do you have any Chinese dollar stores in your area? They're run by people from china and mostly sell cheap stuff that was not only made in China, but pretty clearly intended more for the Chinese market than export. You find them in a lot of malls.
Unfortunately, no. I guess we just don't rate such a thing in this area. Too many damn-ed Italians, I suppose.

For my own non-essential purchases? I suppose it would be this guy.

I was too lazy to take a picture of my own, but anyways I was in Toys R Us getting a present for my cousin's birthday. I wanted to see just for fun what Pokemon toys they had, saw my favorite staring at me, and next thing you know I was up at the register trying to look as cool possible while buying a Pokemon toy and Lego set. XD

Just bought a few hundred rings to make chain maille jewelery. I started that hobby about a week ago. I'ts not good if you have shaky hands, but it's worth it when you make something awesome.

Just today, I bought that baby
<img src=http://cdn.destructoid.com//ul/253161-header.jpg>
For some reason my local Future Shop and Best Buy were out of PS3 stock, so I had to get on from EB Games.

And I can't play PS3 without TV, so I got that

All in all, that was a good day.

The last thing?

A subway sandwich

Note: This isn't the actual sandwich, I ate it before I could take a picture.

The last thing that wasn't food/drink/gas or some other necessity?
