From the sheer amount of new puzzle elements plus GlaDOs' new revenge plot, adding in the fact that this is meant to be "standalone" and not in a combo package, I think that extra length is a guarantee.Sennz0r said:

Hmm, I can wait. Few more new IPs I'm waitng on, and sequels to games I liked that I'll be getting first.

On the other hand, sometimes temp voices (like the one for Wheatly) turn out better than the final product, as was the case for Soap in MW2. I thought the random programmer they got to do his voice in the preview videos was much better than the goofy Irish fellow who ended up with the part, although my original perception could have been enhanced by my lack of knowledge of his mohawk.

Awesome! While I usually prefer good old fashioned killfest fun to relieve stress, sometimes I like to sit down and make my brain work. When that moment comes, I put in Portal. If Portal 2 is even more mindbending than Portal, then I'm in for a treat.

It also reminds me of Half life more too, which is good because the universes are supposedly one in the same.
And the physics? How could you not like them?

The little blurbs on the diagams at the beginning are hilarious.

Dammit Valve, why are you so good at this? I keep thinking that it's impossible to want this any more, and then you just show me something even better.
