remember the Mario bros movie when they gave the brothers "Mario Mario" and "Luigi Mario", this is like that, b/c the movie is gonna suck, and no one will ever use the name.

I think a movie(if it is from the movie, I can't watch vids here at school) where everyone was calling him prince would be kinda annoying, however I don't like the name but any name they made up for him would be kinda stupid because the memories I have of the game he didn't have a name, it's a lose lose situation for the writer.
Enough about the name, did anyone see in the video that the Dagger of Time has A F****** BUTTON?

Remember that silly line in Warrior Within where Kaileena asks 'Who are you?' and the Prince replies 'I'm the Prince of Persia!' that just sounds absolutely moronic?

You can't do things in a movie that you can in a game and vise versa. People tend to need names in a movie. Dastan is as good a name as any. I got to agree that they should've had someone who was, ya know, persian play the prince. Or at least 'generic brown'.

i think he should just be known as prince, or better yet... he shouldnt be adressed by his name but instead be simply spoken to directly, its also a video game movie, which has a high chance of making it suck.
on another note, the fighting in the recent PoP game sucked, they must bring out a new game that brings back the original fighting system (with innovative ideas), and make it as gory as warrior within.
