After playing a few games of MW2, full of glitchers, I'm angry. The javelin glitch among the worst. Realistically, this probably won't be fixed for a while due to InfinityWards many other dire issues...that can't be said with a straight face.

There's nothing wrong with my games either. Are you sure you're playing modern warfare 2? Is your Xbox prone to freezing or something?

Simple solution - switch to First Recon Preset Class and have a crapload of fun knifing them.

You see a knife kill doesn't seem to activate the glitch, plus you get the added bonus of having a more enjoyable game.

I tried it and I don't play as well, my K/D ratio is way down and I never get more than a 5 killstreak, but you know what? The game's way, way more fun like this.

I haven't seen any glitching on Xbox 360, but then again I probably wasn't paying attention.

You put the Javglitches name in an email to infinity ward, they check out your story (killcams are stored, supposedly) they say "WHAT A FAG" and suspend him. Problem solved!

As someone who's only played three or so hours of MW2 multi and doesn't own it, please can you explain what the Javelin glitch entails. I'm assuming it's similar to the flightless bazooka glitch on DoD:S, where the missile lands as soon as it is fired (no flight time=impossible to dodge) or involves the homing system.

#Edit, youtubed it, clever buggers. It's a dirty horrible trick certainly, but still clever buggers.

Just been playing, loads of sad mother******s using the Javelin glitch. I find that bombarding them with abusive messages tends to get rid of them pretty quickly! Also, just use Commando and knife the pathetic sods!

Knifing still causes the rocket to fly out and obliterate evrything in the vicinity. I know glitches are never fixed quickly, but InfinityWards "capable" staff could probably get it in a month...or 3...

Report every glitch you see. It also helps to do a player review under "Avoid - Lack of skill". Because that's what glitching is - proof that someone lacks skill. You also get the added benefit of not playing with that person again.

I NEVER saw the Javelin glitch until last evening when it seemed every person above level 50 was exploiting it. This almost certainly wasn't true, but it did get old fast. Trouble was, in most cases, there was literally no reasonable way for me to escape alive as I would often encounter these people in close quarters. My only available option was to kill them and then instantly die myself. Eventually, I just sequestered myself in chokepoints and gunned them down as they sprinted past. I don't really like it when a game (through player's actions) force me into camping but this was the only way to be successful in the Team Deathmatch game.

Seriously you haven't played many games then have you? Well if you think the couple of minor glitches in an otherwise very polished game is 'Rampancy of Glitching' then you haven't

Yeah it does. I can assure you it does.

(I won't lie, I used this glitch to get 149 Javelin kills, and my Danger Close pro)

(And it was worth it)

I have a feeling that MW2 may end up as another GoW2...
