The Shadow over Unova

I've been playing Pokemon Shuffle for a little while, and I need to get this off my chest. For the five or so who don't know, one of the first mega pokemon you can use is Mega Audino. For some reason, it just looks strangely like an adorable example of an Eldritch Abomination to me (for the five or so who don't know, think the massive cosmic deities in the collective works of H.P. Lovecraft). Am I the only one who feels it looks strangely Lovecraftian?

It's the little head swirlies isn't it? Man has a right to an opinion, I woulda thought Metagross was a bit more Eldritch when it Megas though

Ha, strange, I actually want to know what kind of animal is base this Mega Pokemon.
But I will be honest, I see it more like the cat creature from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica"
