Sure, it was produced before the studio was founded, but it still goes under the Studio Ghibli label... which makes it a Ghibli film... technically. :p

I immediately thought of the girl's parents from Spirited Away being turned into pigs for stuffing their faces at the banquet.

But then, I'm not very knowledgeable about the Ghibli-verse.
