Pretty cool [https://www.gamesradar.com/this-behind-the-scenes-look-at-god-of-war-reveals-how-the-sounds-of-the-world-serpent-and-leviathan-axe-were-created/] what goes into it, especially the World serpent.
He's an underrated actor in general, and weirdly low-profile too. He could've been an A-lister like Matt Damon after Private Ryan but instead stuck to skulking about in small indie productions and shunning leading roles. He shows up in one scene of the Twin Peaks revival for what's basically extra work. Terrific actor in any role I guess but weird acting choices.Casual Shinji said:I always love finding out that this scary/intimidating/majestic sound was just them recording a pig snoring or a horse ejaculating. And now I find out that the World Serpent is part cat purr.
Also, Jeremy Davis actually won a Bafta for best performance in God of War. His performance seems a bit underappreciated, but he totally nails it especially in his introduction, so I'm glad he got some recognition for it.
I don't know what exactly the pivot point was, but he used to play more innocent characters, like Private Upham, but then switched to playing weirdos, like Charles Manson. Last I saw him I think he played in Lars von Trier's latest movie, so nuff said. Also when you see him in interviews he's a bit of an oddball. He kills it as Baldur, but it is strange seeing this indie focused actor play a villain in this huge AAA blockbuster videogame.Johnny Novgorod said:He's an underrated actor in general, and weirdly low-profile too.
