To be fair, in the screenshot, it does say "weak", not "week". I think the person copying it from an image to plain text made a typo.
I just wouldn't want you to think less of this person because of a typo that he didn't actually make.

Although he did say "The weak will parish", where he meant "perish", so it evens out, I guess.

What can the National Guard at the moment? Honestly, IDK, Im from a state without snow. I'm used to waiting until a storm as finished before help arrives

FEMA would probably be better equipped to do that, but that would require the President sending them there, I think.

Quick tip for you Texans, when the Sun finally comes out I recommend putting on sunglasses because snow reflects light and that stuff will blind you really hard. Up in the north we are used to it but it probably we'll come as a surprise to you.

Not to be too pedantic but the only Green Energy that would have kept going with the level of snow would be the non renewable glowy green rod kind.

Wind Turbines don't work well in snow and have to be stopped normally to try and prevent issues.
Solar isn't going to do much under a blanked of snow.
Water isn't going to do much when it's frozen in a number of places.

This is why America's whole ''lol government help BAD!'' approach is silly. If the government shouldn't even be helping its citizens during disasters then when should it help? What else is the duty of the government if not protecting its citizens? This mayor refused to even consider the idea that he had any duty towards the people he is leading and thus his immediate termination as mayor is the only acceptable outcome. Leaders have a duty to their citizens and going ''lol you just freeze and die you dirty pleb'' is not an acceptable position to hold.

God did indeed give us humans the resources to look after ourselves. Unfortunately, we humans arranged the resources God gave us such that a lot of things some people need are inaccessible because they are owned by other people.
