A man had his penis cut off by his wife, who then destroyed it in the garbage disposal. He was trying to file for divorce. This is the responce.

Feminist attitudes maybe? That and to be fair, Some people do have a twisted sense of humor, I mean I do (I didnt laugh at that) But even i know that if you find something funny that people think you shouldnt, you keep it to yourself.

I don't understand where the surprise is coming from, considering the source material. The View is terrible for it's female chauvinism and the Talk is just a terrible rip-off. It just goes to demonstrate that feminism is less about empowering females and more about dragging men down, for revenge. But OT, I for one was appalled, and I'm never appalled by anything I watch, ever.

So, once a friend told me that he cut off the ladyparts of his girlfriend and it accidentally slipped on the floor and the dog ate it. HILARIOUS, NO? HAHAHAHAHAHA-

I'm gonna be sick

They did treat it rather lightly... and seemed to treat the man's filing for divorce as a practically equal crime. That's the truly sick part in my book. Fetishizing marriage to the point where leaving one is equivalent to assault with a deadly weapon, torture and sexual mutilation. Handle your emotions, ladies. They heal more easily than an amputated appendage.

I like how one mentions there is a double standard where if something like this happened to a women there wouldn't be laughs but another one said there's a difference though
not really something to get up in arms about

I think the worst part of that is when one of the women actually mentioned that it would be considered a tragedy if the roles were reversed, and that this isn't funny and there shouldn't be a difference who it happened to, then the others said that it was different because it happened to a man, and is therefore funny. Then made a joke that it's different because it's easier to do to a man. Huh?

I have a solution for people that deserve it. This solution will come into effect as soon as I control the world.

The solution is this. The people or persons are minced alive, sealed in glass cubes (sort of like nuclear waste), loaded into a rocket and then blasted into the sun.

Women like the ones in that video would suffer this fate, for the whole worlds benefit!

The jokes aren't that bad; the bit where the Asian woman says taking a breast off is different and (from the look on her face) much worse is fairly atrocious though. And from looking at it in terms of a sort of "balance-sheet", wrong anyway.

OP was ninja'd be a few minutes: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.301112-A-sad-day-for-humanity-or-at-least-the-public-image-of-these-women

Also, don't see why people are bringing feminism into this. This is just tasteless joking about something nasty, which is depressingly common in talk shows and the like.

That is disgusting. And it reeks of double standards. One woman brings it up and the others just shrug her off. Pathetic.

This is really sad, the reason for the divorce was, alegedly, cited as her being abusive, and this goes on to further validate the heresay. But what I really want to know is what point i am allowed to mutilate my spouse?
But this is completely the opposite, if the genders had been reversed the man would still be at fault, if the genders were reversed and the man (now a woman) killed the woman (now a man) it would again be the man at fault as there were allegations of abuse making anything done self defence. Not only that men rarely have the same acess to shelters that women do police simply dont take allegations of abuse seriously and often simply go unheard until something serious like this occurs and so many people take it as an opportunity to laugh.
I for one dont think men are any less human or less worthy of simpathy than women, but sadly these women feel that because of his lack of a special hole between his legs any acts of violence commited against him are justified and humorous.

Can you imagine the roles reversed? Woman files for divorce and her husband mutilates her vagina. Then a group of men take turns laughing about it on a talk show?

Yea, I imagine that'd go down a storm.

Seriously.

Fuck them.

The only one that even noted the sexism was the second from the left. Then the rest just dismissed it.

Bunch of twats. Seriously, shit like this riles me up.
This exactly. I don't know what's with women like this. Whenever a man gets completely screwed over by a woman, their reaction is always "HAHA THAT GETS HIM BACK FOR ALL THE TIMES MEN FUCK OVER WOMEN HAHA." It's a ridiculous situation that anyone can take this so lightly.

Not all feminists are man hating bitches.

I do think feminism suffers from the same problem as socialism though, in that lots of people claim to be one but only a handful actually are, instead merely using the idea as a shallow excuse to justify their own agendas.
Also, like socialism, feminism has become a dirty word, used to describe whatever the speaker doesn't like.

"No, they're different. One's floppy and *makes face* ew."

That was pretty much their reaction to her bringing up the double standard.

They're a bunch of dicks. I hope their show gets pulled because of this.

It goes deeper than that. Not only are women are more physcially abusive than men [http://news.ufl.edu/2006/07/13/women-attackers/], but many feel it's ok to do it "as long as he deserves it". Imagine a guy excusing slapping his girlfriend by saying she deserved it.

Very few people will report physical assualt on men in public, and even cops will laugh at him.

I'm not surprised. Double standards have made it so in places, just due to gender issues and not wanting to look sexist it sometimes puts men second. But overall it makes me feel this.
