We're talking strictly XBl and not the console itself so..

-Ads
-pointless apps that are free to use elsewhere
-Games cost $60, but you're pay walled off from the other half of that game.
-wall to wall cheaters in older games...yes, XBL is hacked.

+ Connecting with friends is a simple task and a pain on other consoles
+ umm....that's all.

I can understand adverts on silver accounts but it takes the piss when you consider when i had a gold account (back on the original blade gui) there were no adverts at all, now i log into my new xbox and its adverts everywhere.

I'll stick to steam thanks.
