The Walking Dead Episode 3 Hits Soon

The Walking Dead: Long Road Ahead features two new survivors for Lee to worry about.

Last week Telltale Games was kind enough to confirm an iOS release date for Episode 2 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/119249-Walking-Dead-Episode-2-Infects-iOS-Next-Week] of its point-and-click The Walking Dead series. Now it's saying that Long Road Ahead is due any day, and could be out as early as September. Two new survivors will be introduced in this episode, and events post-farm will be explored.

"Episode Three: Long Road Ahead is in submission with our first party partners and we are anxiously awaiting a release date to be confirmed," said Telltale. "We anticipate that this could be as soon as next week, and as soon as we have a confirmation on all platforms, we'll be letting everyone know as soon as it happens." Presumably confirmation on all platforms means iOS too, which will make a pleasant change from last time.

The new survivors are Christa and Omid, but little more than their names is known about them; they could be Carly and Doug redux, or something completely different. The Walking Dead is known for its inter-group dynamic, and by the time Long Road Ahead hits the group may be in full meltdown. Who will be next on the zombie menu? There's only one way to find out ...

I'm really pissed at Telltale for because of this. If they had made an update saying ''OK guys, so it might not be out in August. We're sorry for the delay. We're hoping it'll be done by early September'' I wouldn't be as angry. But no, they just give crap updates on shit noone cares about.

Jesus Christ, I'm so glad I wasn't the one who payed for the fucking game (I leech off of a friend for my gaming fix) and I probably never will.

About god damn time, all these delays make me wish i had waited till all the episodes were out, the constant delays and lack of communication just gets on my nerves.

Wish i had used the money to pre order borderlands instead of paying for the season pass (being a pc gamer i had no choice but to buy a season pass).

I am looking forward to the next episode, I want to see where my important decision in the freezer has taken me and the group.

I'm actually more excited for the new TWD game episodes than the live action series, it simply fixes everything I hate from the series, like whiny bitches and stupid kids (well, it still has one of those, but it's not stupid, just annoying and no, I don't mean Clem).

Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch the live action series, but they could definitely take a few notes from Telltale.
