The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 2 Gets Trailer, Release Date

Tensions are rising in A House Divided, the second episode of The Walking Dead: Season Two.

TellTale games released today the first official trailer for A House Divided, the next episode in The Walking Dead: Season Two. Things looks like they're about to go from bad to worse for Clementine, though the trailer continues hammer home that the undead may be the least of our worries in a zombie apocalypse. TellTale also announced the release date for the second episode, after teasing it Twitter [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/131925-Walking-Dead-Season-2-Next-Chapters-Just-Around-The-Corner]. TellTale confirmed today that the PlayStation Vita release is planned for the end of March. Episode 1 and Episode 2 of The Walking Dead: Season Two will be available on release for PS Vita, individually or as part of a season pass.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/10817-The-Walking-Dead-Season-Two-All-That-Remains-Review] bridged the gap between Season One and Season Two, and TellTale recommends that if you haven't yet played the special DLC episode you might want to before starting A House Divided. Decisions made in 400 Days will have an impact on the story of Season Two.

TellTale's The Walking Dead reinvigorated love for point and click adventure games [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/9790-The-Walking-Dead-Episodes-1-2-Review], and also reduced fans to tears with its gut-wrenching, fantastic story. No spoilers, but we at The Escapist are pretty sure bad things are in store for Clementine, and we fully expect to be wailing to our loved ones once the season ends.

I still want to know who she thought was dead, but apparently wasn't. According to that "next time on the walking dead" thing you got at the end of episode 1.

Oh well, I'll prepare some tissues for my tears.. Whenever the xbox version comes that is.

I think so too.
I hope so, to be exact.

I was one of the few (at least it seems like nobody liked him) people that liked the guy.

But it could be Crista too or even some random character that Clem met during the time we didn't see her between the seasons.

Well, it's about time :p

"4-6 weeks between each episode", ... yeah right -_-
...Where exactly did they say "4-6 weeks"? As far as I'm aware, they never said they would release them that fast.

How many episodes are there in a season, and when are they made available?
There are five episodes in each season. Episodes are usually available to download between 4 and 6 weeks apart.
Mind you, I'm not pissed or anything. But I do think they should communicate earlier if an episode is going to take much longer to come out.

Thing that bugged me about TWD2 was playing as Clementine doesn't actually seem harder. The difficulty isn't ramped up at all, yeah, you can die/get Clem killed, but it's no more or less difficult than it was with Lee. There's a bit near the start where
Clemetine is getting chased by bandits and one of them grabs her, a grown man can't hold onto her.
and the only reason she gets away is because the -player- is just better at mashing buttons. :/ As long as you have reasonably good timing and can operate a keyboard/controller she can't really fail or hasn't been especially shown to besides some poor judgement. Bad doggie.

Well, it is a narrative game.

Also, Lee would frequently take down multiple walkers in straight up fights; Clem only survives because most of the walkers are in compromising positions, and she has a very sharp weapon to hand. Lee also can't fail, unless you're not doing particularly well. It's just the nature of the game.

Secondly, have you tried grabbing someone who REALLY doesn't want you to grab them? It's very possible to wriggle free, and once you add rain and mud and walkers, and a healthy dose of luck, it's perfectly possible.

If it really bothers you, handicap yourself. Personally, I found it to be more frightening or tense without needing to ramp up the difficulty; Lee, I felt, could handle himself. Clem, though, especially after everything Lee did to protect her, I panic more when I play as her because I want her to live and she 'feels' more fragile, physically.

I hope it's not Kenny. Never liked his attitude. I'm betting it's Lilly.
We were never given the impression that Lilly was dead though, we just abandoned her on the roadside or had her steal our RV.

Though Clem was never told, on screen at least, that Kenny was dead. Of course, however, it's completely reasonable to assume she was told between the events of season 1 and 2 or she even just assumed he was.
I'm with 008Zulu though. I think it's Lilly.

Is that "March 4th" the North American release date? Because if it is, that will most likely mean I need to wait until Wednesday to play it.

She stole it from me.

Kenny did say afterwards that it had (I think) about 30 miles left in it before the car died. So maybe everyone just assumed the worst?

I don't buy it. Lilly was an extremely capable woman who had military and survival experience and a full RV camper full of whatever food, weapons, and other crap they managed to cram in there before they had to rush out during the attack. To just assume that she's dead when we and Clementine know full well that the last time we saw her she was definitely alive just seems like sloppy writing to me.

Kenny, on the other hand, was in an impossible situation. Surrounded by walkers, only one shot left in his gun (if you kept Ben alive) in a narrow alley or inside an infested apartment with no way out. It's much more reasonable to assume that he would have died. But I think Telltale deliberately omitted showing him dying because he's not dead. If he was just going to die there and then why not just show it?

Maybe it's just because I've read too much of George RR Martin's fantasy at this point, but if I don't see the person visibly get killed by a reliable narrator/perspective then I always expect to see them miraculously return somehow. And I'm sure that Christa and Omid would have filled Clem in that Kenny was gone, or Clem would have just put two and two together and realized that neither Kenny or Ben were with either Lee or Christa/Omid and they showed no motivation to go looking for them to try and reunite.

I wouldn't be all that surprised if Lilly comes back at some point (although I think she's the same Lilly as the comics that kills the Governor?) but I think that Clem meeting someone and saying "I thought you were dead" is DEFINITELY Kenny.

EDIT: Also worth noting is that we drive along that same stretch of highway a few times after Lilly got left behind in the 400 days DLC and the first episode of season two, and while we DEFINITELY see the body of either Doug or Carley, there's no sign of Lilly. This isn't definitive proof or anything, just some circumstantial evidence.

So someone who was trapped in an inescapable position, with no weapons, has a higher chance of survival than someone with a car full of supplies?

No. Someone in an inescapable situation is much more likely to be assumed dead, and therefore have that be mentioned should they ever miraculously reunite.

"I thought you were dead" is not how I would imagine Clem reacting if she ran into Lilly again, but it is how I would imagine her reacting to seeing Kenny alive.

I don't assume Lilly is dead (unless she is the one from the comics because I think she dies after the governor thing, but I havent read the comics myself so idk) because she is very resourceful and was in a much safer position when we last saw her.

I don't understand why they're releasing episodes 1 at a time at random time intervals. The series is designed to be played in a row at regular time intervals so that you remember and are connected to the story. By releasing them so far apart they really damage the quality of the game since the story suffers as you lose interest.
