I mean Jesus H. Christ, has anyone played this game thats divided in two sections.
First camp is all gravy, great voice acting and characterisation.
Then theres the second... glitches where characters MOST OF THE TIME move around if they suffer from... a dev that doesn't give a shit. Characters spawn in a fall 1ft high, at the start of the scene. Floating guns, one of the worst voice sync I've seen in a game for quite some time... Anyway I don't remember the first season being this bad. Spoiler: Also that whole part where they find safety, could that made it not that obvious that shit will happen all over it.
TL:DR Walking Dead Season 2, is the same quality as Ride to Hell.

Just finished Episode 2 of Season 2...

Nope! Did not get a single glitch. At least nothing to the level that you described, if there were any glitches, they went unnoticed by me. Or perhaps I'm very lucky...especially after two playthroughs.

If anything, this season is slightly more polished in the animation and lip-syncing department.

So I have to disagree with The Walking Dead Season 2 being comparable to Ride to Hell.
Here's why: The Walking Dead was actually playable.

This is surprising to me. I read about some particularly mean glitches with episode 1, but I imagine they've almost all been patched by now.

The Xbox 360 version of season 1 is unplayable for me thanks to the Storage Device Lost error that plagues. Telltale still haven't fixed it to this day.

They make great games but their support is woefully lacking and I can't help but think it is going to get worse now they are taking on more work.

I had a few save breaking ones replaying season 1, but haven't noticed any in season 2 yet.

Every Telltale release, somebody complains about bugs. And every time, I play through it with no issues.

Seriously I'm convinced my computer must be fucking magic or something.

Nope. I had no bugs to speak of in all of my time with any of the Walking Dead episodes except for episode 4 of Season 1 which had a few minor cutscene bugs

I had some graphical glitches with clipping and a shaky gun in the first episode of season 2 but episode 2 didn't really lend itself to anything noticeable. Or if it did I don't remember it so that should say it had no effect.

Yeah, I got to say, I'm on the PS3 version, and I have no clue what you're talking about. Zero glitches to report. I can't think of any encounters with glitches at ANY point in the Walking Dead series. And I played season 1 twice.

Nope, didn't notice any glitches. I was probably too busy having my heart explode from excitement and sadness and hope all at the same time.

Aaha, I know that feel. I played through Fallout New Vegas without a single bug then logged onto here to talk about it only to see a thousand threads going:

"BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGS!"

But yeah, OT and all, I only noticed one bug which was in a part with Luke. The scene started and his face had to find the right animation apparently, so he went from sad to angry to happy to smiling in the space of a second. It was pretty funny. On the topic of the actual episode, eh all round, apart from that one part which you all know that I'm talking about. That one. Yes. That one. However, there really wasn't gameplay, like, at all in this one. In the original, it had you interacting and solving puzzles whilst chatting, but in Episode Two I can recall exactly two places where you get to wander and actually do something. One of them is over as soon as you find a knife, and the other is basically just a long hallway. There is zero of what I really liked about Episode 2 in Season 1, which was walking around, talking and actually doing something at the same time.

This Episode just felt a bit too cutscene-y and in the end it wasn't really all that interesting apart from one part.

I'm on pc and I have a pretty massive visual bug; Clementine has no head or legs and her arms are pitch black like the textures are missing. I'm in the process of verifying the files, so hopefully that will help.

edit: verifying the files fixed it

Never had a bug for season 2, but on PS3 there is is a bit of lag and jerkiness. Doesn't ruin it, but when playing Wolf Among Us on PC it moves as smooth as butter (the console version also has the same kind of jerk as season 1). But ya, even if you had a glitch or two, in that same 2 hours of playing that episode I'm sure you would've already long thrown your Ride to Hell copy out the window for being completely unlikable, unplayable, and barely functioning for anyone on a good day.

I was talking down Vernon to put down his weapon. All was calm and I managed to get him to surrender his gun...and then suddenly the game over screen popped up as if he shot me...and the picture beneath that was of Lee holding the gun! Not a major glitch and it continued on afterwards as if nothing happened (I didn't even need to go through that segment again), so whatever.

And then I heard on a forum that someone playing a chapter in 400 Days where he/she was in a loop from the game autosaving on a death animation. Had to restart the entire chapter.

I have watched a Let's Play show where there was a funny bug that required them to reload the save.

Starts at 22:12
The entire scene after has the camera spazzing too. It continues on 24:23

Nope, no bugs for me. Not a single one.

In fact, the only bug I've ever seen in Walking Dead was in Ep2 of Season One, in which a crucial button would only appear for half a second before vanishing. Took even my catlike reflexes several tries to be able to click it fast enough.

Comparing Walking Dead to Ride to Hell is either laughable hyperbole or just good old fashioned bullshit.

I've got the game on Steam and the 360.

PC version I can't recall a single issue. The 360 version is unplayable because of the Storage Device Lost error.

When I originally downloaded season 1, it wouldn't start. I went to the steam forums, found my issue, found the solution in the first response, changed one setting, and never had a problem since with season 1 or 2. I'm ok with glitch and bug fixes requiring ini file editing. Changing one setting... not even a bug worth noticing. No problems with TWD.

I've not experienced any glitches with Episode 2 on 360. Episode 1 was a bit glitchy but nothing game breaking thankfully. Weird how half the people are getting major bugs and others aren't though.
