halo is by no means bad, and I was just kinda making a joke because in my opinion TF2 is the best multiplayer experience if it would just have a deathmatch map and local multiplayer...

Yes the multiplayer is good but more can be done, bigger battles, a better matchmaking system, and a little more customization would be nice.

Longer campaign, more balanced weapons. Take some of the needler's power and give it to the assault rifle.

A few things; The only problem with Halo's matchmaking is the time taken to make the matches. Once you're in there, the matching is astounding, and the game genuinely gets harder the higher level you get.

The one thing that would make it better is basic maturity levels. Children screaming down the mic and looping sound have caused me to default to mute all before matchmaking. That naturally takes all teamwork out of the equation, except for the fact that I have 2 360s in my room and we usually have 3/4 of us here playing. Ready made teams.

They have like 10 on 10 player matches already, any more than that and it would just be ridiculous, except maybe on Sandtrap or Valhalla.

I do agree on the customization, though. There's only like ten different armor types to choose from, and some of them are way too out of reach for most average players to even attain. Sure it makes the armor more "rare" and "impressive" but come on. Making all the "newbs" wear the same armor, while all the "veterans" wear the same armor by choice is just stupid.

i think a longer harder campaign would be good, and a lot more arbiter, lets face it he is quite a bit cooler than chief, and he seems to sped almost evry cutscene sitting around and picking his nose [or whatever elites haave instead of noses] while the cheif crys about cortana

If you want a harder game, just turn on the skulls. I only had three turned on and Tsavo Highway on Legendary was near impossible until I decided to be cheap and pick off all the enemies from long distance with a Warthog turret and run away from all the others. Even doing that it still took like four hours if you count all the times I restarted the mission.

I can't even fathom how difficult the game would be with all the skulls turned on. (Actually, yes I can. I tried it once and couldn't even get past the first battle on the first level.)

i can't hardly stand to play halo 3 now, i was able to play for hours on end with the first one, but now it just feels like putting on a uncomfortable worn out sneaker, it stinks. it's just an aggravating game.

Oh also only TWO people in the entire world have ever beat the game on Legendary with all skulls turned on.

While we're at it, separate playlists for different gametypes might help out... God forbid I should be able to play a Slayer match when I want to...

Very well, I will post a real honest answer that doesn't completely bash Halo 3.

If it came to PC, and some people made some nice mods to it.
I admit, mods for Halo 1 kicked ass.

A *BETTER* single player campaign.

Honestly, who in the heck cares about single player? Not a word was said about the single player campaign until Yathzee(sp)came along with the perception of "I don't care about multiplayer". To me, Halo multiplayer is just counter-STrike with the addition of vehicles and subtraction of myg0t-nerdlings.

Also, a PC release that doesn't have "you have to play JUST this game in order to play it since Vista sucks! HA HA!" plastered all over it would be VERY nice. I'd love to be able to aim when I pay my FPSes, and I would give the plasma sword to have a lock-on in Halo 2. I sitll think Halo and Guitar Hero are the reasons vascular surgeons are going to be the richest people in America and Australia, because I could feel carpal-tunnel-flaring up trying to play the game on Legendary.

I agree/disagree. I love shotty snipers, and i wish they would separate it into a different playlist so i dont have to hope i get it by chance.

But i agree, they need to totally scrap crazy king, multi flag. I hate getting those games in team doubles.

A little more customisation? How much customisation do you need?

Unless you mean the armour, which really isn't much of a big deal. The only time you will ever see people wearing the same armour is when they select full Hayabusa like all the other unimaginative idiots.

No, I just came to a quick realization that it was the same as Halo 2 but with a slightly more refined graphics engine hence its nickname 'Halo 2.5'
