I played every mission on the game and got ultor exposed dlc, nothing about a sequel.. hmm, time to google, thanks for the info.
You know what, I'm sorry: now that I think about it, I'm wrong. If you play the secret ending you actually wrap up a loose end from SR1 (you know what I mean). I got confused.

I tell you another thing I'm hoping for: Eliza Dushku returns as a voice actress. She is so sexy that just her voice alone has caused men to forsake their wives. Yum.

These guys know how to make a fun free roaming experience. Something Rockstar seem to have forgotten. I'm looking forward to this game. It looks like they've added weapon customization too this time. Which is awesome cause that was the only thing you couldn't customize. And a new city? Fuck yeah! Bring it on.

As long as they treat PC with respect. SR2 was fun, but almost unplayable on PC. Do it right this time.
Yea, SR2 was everything gta4 should've been... and more.
I was wondering when we were going to hear more about the next installment.

It's been a while since SR2 came out and there don't seem to be very many kitchen sink kind of games out there this gen. There are plenty of open world games but most of them only have little variety.

This is worthy of a pre-order :)
Only two other games in history have excited me enough to warrant a pre-order

Try making a PC version and I might actually care. They didn't make one for 2, so I see no reason they would make one for 3 (Don't even try telling me they made one for 2, that wasn't a game, just garbage code). Even if they do, I still probably won't buy it because I won't believe them.
Sorry, can't hear you over my fanboyish squeals. Think I'll re-install Saint's Row 2 on my PS3 and give it another playthrough. One of the best damn games I've ever played, and by far one of the most enjoyable. This game's SO getting a pre-order from me.

There are two events that I've been waiting for for the last 2-3 years. One was the announcement of SR3 (SR1 and 2 being tied for my all time favorite games, I've been quite keen for news of the third). And the second was the announcement of the release date for A Dance With Dragons (ASoIaF being my favorite fantasy series).

And, strangely, after 2-3 years of waiting, BOTH those things happen on the exact same day. What are the odds? March 3, 2011, a banner day!

Fuck yes. I loved SR2 and I can't wait for SR3. I hope they bring back the crew of SR2 like Gat, Peirce and Shandi. If I have more freedom then I did in SR2, and there was allot in SR2, I'll be more then happy.

Oh, god, fuck yes.
Just make it better optimised for the PC, 'kay Volition?
Volition subcontracted the PC conversion, it wasnt their direct fault it was badly done.

I hope we see some of the minigames return, Fuzz and riding the quad while on fire were two of my favs.

Lets all hope we dont end up in the City of Brown like poor Niko Belic.

I guess I'm one of the only five people who felt that GTA IV was a truely brilliant game, and that Saint's Row couldn't stand up to. I'm honestly shocked at how many people I see praising it.

Was it unique? Had some nice original ideas, yeah?
Funny? I'll give it that.
Fun?...

I'm sorry, but after a couple hours of playing, the game just got dull for me. Everything was way too easy, and it really didn't feel like there was a huge amount of "Man, that was awesome" potential. GTA IV at least had a hell of a lot of that. The cops weren't just waves of mooks, and instead felt like they were a challenge, and thus made the whole experience a hell of a lot more rewarding.

I am personally hoping for a pink Easter bunny costume, because nothing is more scary than seeing a pink Easter bunny sprinting towards you with an assault rifle.

They also declined us the console DLCs that continued the storyline and the game ran like it was being fast forwarded on windows 7 requring cheat engine to slow it down.

Awesome! Hopefully they'll have the voice options that SR2 had, I loved my English Sociopath.

I don't know, for a "GTA Clone" I've had more fun with the SR games then GTA games, at least since Vice City, the last GTA game that I actually enjoyed.

The big question, of course, is this: Will they release DLC for PC as well as consoles this time round?
