This guy should start thinking about what will be the storyline of Psychonauts 2 instead of doing something else !
God help us if someone in the industry does something original.
what does that mean? i mean, in the internet it's hard to tell if you're being sarcastic or sincere.

It was sarcasm. Sorry if wasn't obvious enough, it's admittingly kinda hard to tell sarcasm in just text (being serious). I was basically sarcastically saying that I'd rather see a new IP then a sequel. Just not a big fan of sequels. Not that their necessarily bad, it's just that they usually seem like the lazy way (see the Mega Man series, especially 9 and 10). There are some good ones though, don't get me wrong.

Schafer is the embodiment of the ideal Escapist-attractive game maker: he continually churns out products that are a blast of fun and utterly unique.

Beyond the obvious fact that every idea that comes out of Double is not inherently Schafer's,
I'm really intrigued and excited about this game, I love those little Russian Stacking dolls and the time and setting looks fantastic. The mechanic may need a little tweaking however to involve a touch more stealth or trickery to it, although it's certainly not required.

This seems very like the old Buger King games where the Stealth was present but not necessarily integral, which I think is fine enough.

And again, kids, let's remember one important fact:

When you see the credits for a 'Double Fine' Game, Tim Schafer, as great as the guy is, isn't the only one you see in them...

yeah, but Psychonauts ended in such a Cliffhanger that they just have to continue the story! and make the characters in a more profound way, so that levels will be larger/Boyd-er

Sure it was a cliffhanger, but I just couldn't imagine how they'd continue it. It's kinda hard to explain, but the ending felt like it emphasized the great need for the Psychonauts if know what I mean. I still thought it wrapped up things rather nicely. Again, probably just me.

"worlds littlest Russian stacking doll"
So... he's less than 1 cm tall. Hmm, that's interesting.

Psychonauts doesn't need a sequel (and had levels other than the Milkman Conspiracy), Brutal Legend was not a 'badly made rts' it was an Action-RTS that you happened to be bad at, Costume Quest deserves to be more popular, and just because you played Schafer's adventure games first doesn't mean everything else he's made sucks.

I'm done.
