Rather surprised by the lack of public interest in this. Figured Molyneux's name would be a big draw but as it is, it'll probably just squeak by.
Oh, his name is a huge attention-getter. It's just got some pretty big flaws when it comes to turning attention into money.

My finances are tight enough to make me hold off on my first ever kickstarter, but getting me to consider it is a feat in its own. I dunno' man, I'm not even sure I'd buy it when it's out.

I wish 22cans the best of luck, though. It's looking a bit gloomy right now.

After funding Project Eternity and Barkley 2, my Kickstarter quota is used up for this year.

Projects usually get a big bump in funding in the last 36-48 hours, but I kind of doubt this is going to make it. I'm sick of Molyneux's spin.

Well Godus is getting a lot of press. In fact that is pretty much why it is certain to succeed, just because every single gaming news site is posting these "it may very well fail" articles. Yes the fact that it is Peter Molyneux heading this means I am skeptical, but the reason I have removed my pledge all together is because of why this campaign is getting attention. Since it is doomed to fail I might as well let it.

I hate to be that guy, but there are quite a few others that "may very well fail", just because they aren't getting the barest scraps of coverage.

Yeah, that's a close one. I don't want anyone's dream project to fail, but at the same time, I think this might contribute to giving the kickstarter community a much needed "reality check".

Kicktraq projects that they will get up to £414,038 at their current rate. Not enough...
Be careful with your wording there. Kicktraq was showing that they wouldn't get to their goal at their average rate, not at their current rate. When you made that post, their rate at the time was higher than their average rate.
(And, as things stand, their average rate is now enough to push them over the goal.)

Kickstarter gains get multiplied by the amouth of publicity they get. If this does fail it realy says a lot about how much trust Molineux has left.
I find the video presentation a bit sketchy, its low on promises and high on heart-string tugging. History has proven that tactic to work time and time again, but considering Molineux his history it might have been smarter to just make a good, detailed plan on what hes going to do and make sure he sticks to it this time.

Captcha: april showers? What is it trying to tell me... *withdraws in contemplation*

Oh my god (game) look what made its funding goal, what a surprise... /sarcasm

I guess I should be happy that there will be a new game by the same man behind some one of the most memorable games of my childhood (and at least 2 games I enjoyed as a teenager) in one the genre he created, but I just can't find anything about Godus I like the look of.
