TMNT - Mutants in Manhattan Officially Confirmed

TMNT - Mutants in Manhattan is a 1-4 player co-op beat-em-up for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.

So that TMNT game from Bayonetta dev Platinum Games that was website [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.932903-First-Screenshots-of-Platinum-Games-TMNT-Game-Leak] and a trailer (right).

From the looks of things, the game will be a multiplayer beat-em-up, featuring an art style that is inspired by the original TMNT comic books. It will release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Summer, 2016.

While the game's official website displays nothing but an NeoGAF [http://www.tmntmutantsinmanhattan.com/] have uncovered some more info about the game. Notably, the game will feature an original story penned by IDW Comic's TMNT author, Tom Waltz, as well as classic TMNT villains such as Bebop and Rocksteady.

It certainly looks like it has Bayonetta's visually stunning, fast-paced combat style. This could finally be the TMNT game we've been waiting for since the original arcade release.

I'm pretty sure this was also confirmed for PC release as well. Platinum games will come through again with another great spectacle fighter, can't wait.

I'd rather see TMNT: Mutants at the Battle of Calth.

But there I go again, wanting cool things like mutant ninja turtles fighting possessed chaos space marines in underground caverns the size of Manhattan and then getting pizza with Gulliman while April O'Neil tries in vain to get an interview with Captain Ventanus.

Is there a specific spot where we see multiplayer? I mean, I'd hope for it, but I couldn't spot any actual gameplay bits with more then one turtle fighting.

It's definitely on PC. The official trailer (not this Xbone one) confirms it. Freakin' ninja turtles man. I can't wait for this.

I imagine that this will be similar to the old arcade games. Given that the turtles function mostly as a group, it being multiplayer is a perfectly reasonable assumption.

At the 0:58 mark in the trailer there's several Turtles fighting at once and I think they even do a combined attack.
Also at 1:06 fighting the Shark guy.
The game looks pretty cool, they should have linked an HD version of the trailer though, you can get a bett look at things.
