To Warhammer 40K fans: What's your favourite and least favourite Space Marine chapter or race?

As I'm new to the W40K mythos I don't have a favourite, but I curious as to what your guys is.

EDIT: Since lots of people say they don't play Space Marines (HERESY!) what's your favourite race?

Favorite: Adepta Soror Okay okay, I'll play by the rules. Space Wolves, Black Templar as a clooooose second.

Least Favorite: I REEEEEALLy want to say Ultramarines but it's TOO easy. So instead I'll pick Blood Angels.

Favourite:Blood Angels. And yes I was a fan before the 5th ed Codex!
Least Favourite:They're all decent to me. I don't really have a least favourite. Although if I really had to choose one, I'd pick any Chaos Legion because they betrayed the Emperor!

I play Ultramarines. Big obvious guess. Least favorite would be Black Templars.

Least favorite: Ultramarines. Fuck 'em, they're hugely overrated.

my fav are probably the salamanders (since they are apparently good people who actually know how to fix shit and seem to care somewhat about civilians) followed by space wolfs

I guess the ones I like the least are the ultramarines since they are just rather boring

Favorite: White Scars/Raven Guard, can't decide between the two. I like the fact that out of Space Marines they have a different style other then "Shoot and chainsword things while screaming the Emperor's name".

Least Favorite: Dark Angels. Screw you Lion and your Emo Marines. Leman Russ is better.

Favorite: Blood Ravens, even though they only became canon because of the popularity of the RTS series Dawn of War they have character and depth from events in the 40th/41st millenium. Unlike most of the other chapters who are basically defined only by the Horus Heresy.

Least favorite: Grey Knights, if I can pick them(they aren't really a chapter). They are boring, down to their very personalities because of the training they undergo to make them resistant to corruption by Chaos.

If I can't pick them... Dark Angels. They completely ignore the Adepta [something], the rules stating how many marines can be in a chapter and how the chapters are supposed to be structured. Then they sulk about a guy in their past who broke the rules and fought against them. Hypocrites.

Favorite Chapter: The Luna Wolves before the heresy. Current chapter is either the Grey Knights or White Scars.

Least Favorite: Blood Angels... Pre-Heresy with Sanguinius, they were cool. In the game now, hate em.

Favorite: Dark Angels (at least in terms of playing the game) because they never, not ever, fall back. Specifically though gotta love the Deathwing.

Least favorite: ummm... probably just have to say the Imperial Fists, mostly because I dislike the color scheme for them.

Favourite: The Deathwatch, special chapter pooled from the best of the Imperium's space marines to form a special force to hold off foul Xeno and their greatest threats all under the watchful rule of the Ordo Xenos.

Least Favourite: Dark Angels, they had a schism. You know who else did? The whole goddamn Imperium, get over it.

Fav Storm Wardens, just love the color scheme, but since no one has probable heard of them Salamanders, many of them are not just good fighters they tend to be good people too.

Least Fav: Uhh, I don't really have a least favorite, Emperors Children actually damn traitors, killed Ferrus Magnus Emperor burn their souls

Most hated? Ahhh.... Blood Angels. Theyer basically Khorne Berserkers for the Space Marines.

least favourite: blood angels they aren't that bad but the blood lust thing is just enough to make me dislike them.

Its been awhile since ive played (about 5 years) but Lore wise I like the Horus heresy the imperial guard and the un forgiven chapters (Dark angels and successors).

Space marines (as seen in codex's) are for the most part bland and uninteresting (especially if written by Matt Ward)
