Infinitely creepier than the Slender man.
The 'Princessification' of little girls is definitely one of my soap box issues. If I say anything more, I'm going to fly into a rant.
Reminds me of that southpark episode where Michael Jackson is in the body of Ike and they put on a pageant so Michael can move on to the afterlife. . . .spectrenihlus said:I guarantee that each one of those judges has child pornography on their computer.
I feel like I should wipe my internet history and burn my laptop after watching that...DuctTapeJedi said:

Ugghh, that is so wrong, they don't even look like children after all that make-up. Why can't their parents let kids be kids, they'll have time enough when they grow up if they want to take part in contests.DuctTapeJedi said:

Still inspires and ethic through competition. I dont know if youve ever met a grown up child beauty pageant winner, but they are some of the fiercest and most successful people I've met.blakfayt said:It's a reality show, so there's mothers running around cussing their children out for acting like children "oh, so you wanna dance? THEN DANCE FOR THE FUCKING JUDGES NOT BACKSTAGE!" it's not about a "winning ethic" that's what sports and shit are for, this is 2 year olds being dressed up as cow girls and then getting yelled at for pooping themselves.emeraldrafael said:<spoiler=Snip>Im not going to go to youtube to see, but Im going to assume the OP is talking about Child Beauty Pageants. bout which Im... eh. It singles out the bitches in life, and is a good way to see what moms you dont want your child to be around. And besides, its no worse the the adult beauty pageants. the only thing bad about this is its "children" so everything seems more evil about it.

Personally, It hink it instills a winning ethic to a girl to be honest. If they had the boys equivilant of cage matches, I'm sure my uncle would have put me in one, and im sure he would put his daughter into a beauty pageant because it will teach you to "win, and win decisively."
so yeah. let the parents do it if they want. Tell the dads to get off their lazy asses and do something if its so bothering, cause tehy;re just as much at fault here for letting it happen.

and if thats not wat the video was about, sorry that I missed the entire point of the thread.
The ironic thing is that "personality" is one of the categories that they're judged on, which basically comes down to how well they smile.thePyro_13 said:It'll sure as hell teach those kids to rely on looks and glitter rather than personality and intelligence.
Made me think of the engineer from TF2 and I read the rest of your post in his voice.FreakSheet said:Because that falls within the perviews of your conundrums of Philosophy.
